My friend just sent this to me. How vile and misogynistic is this shit?! Even in jest I don't find this funny. And what's #9 about?

In other words "bow down to me or I'll make you go away". There's one for dads too about dating daughters

I definitely won't be that kind of MIL.

Are some women really that possessive of their sons? Weird. I can't wait to see my son getting on with his life and meeting new people. Our dcs are only toddlers so a long way to go before worrying about them being 'stolen' by whores...Confused

I've seen similar for dating daddys little princess. They are all naff.

Mind you, plenty of stories on here from DILs who appear to have MILs like that, and DHs who are either oblivious to mothers nasty controlling side, or too scared of her to stand up for their DPs

Is it not a parody of this?

I have a DD and a DS.

If anyone showed that to my DD in future years I'd tell her to run for the hills.

From the point if view of potentially being a MIL - I think my DS is pretty fantastic, I'm doing my best to bring him up well. On that basis I have no doubt he'll pick someone wonderful that I'll be proud to call my DIL.

Horrid isn't it. Makes out the son to be a spineless idiot, with no mind of his own.
