When I am working tonight and could feasibly pop in to the wool shop before work. But that means I can't finish my project today and can't crochet until friday.

YADNBU! How could you have ever thought that you were??

Sirzy · 01/04/2015 08:41

Yaubu, you can't buy wool when you know you can't use it for hours! Get to the shop.

It's perfectly acceptable. You need it urgently

KittensOnAPlane · 01/04/2015 08:45

go go go!!

HookedOnHooking · 01/04/2015 08:45

I'd be able to do a bit today before/after my nap. No chance of fitting any in tonight as probably won't get a break. Slerp tomorrow. Work tomorrow night. Sleep friday. Then I won't want to drive back on friday so it would have to wait til saturday. So no crochet friday either.

I feel short of breath just thinking about it.

I did yesterday :) wanted to finish DGGS outfit :)

Really shouldn't of tho, as then had to buy wool for next two projects, plus assorted other bits and pieces. :)

BestZebbie · 01/04/2015 08:47

You should ask this on Ravelry. :)

PinkTriangle · 01/04/2015 08:48

Ynbu.... I've travelled 200 miles to come see my family, but was more excited to go to my mums local wool shop as it's fab :)

HookedOnHooking · 01/04/2015 08:52

Of course I'll need to get a little something for next project too.

What should I make next?

Perfectly acceptable, yabu making me want some too though

SoupDreggon · 01/04/2015 09:12

Oh, it's not that odd - I remembered you had a thread asking if you should make one :o

Jinglebells99 · 01/04/2015 09:12

Lol, I say go too. What are you making? (Fellow hooker here!)

SoupDreggon · 01/04/2015 09:14

I'm a little concerned that you do not have any emergency yarn stash. I could not visit a yarn store (real or online) for a good few years before I ever had the vaguest hint of a shortage.

CrystalQueen · 01/04/2015 09:15

YABU even to ask.

But I agree with Soup. Buy some spare when you're there.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 01/04/2015 09:28

I do that sort of thing a lot. I did on Saturday in fact.

Never unreasonable to make a special trip out for wool! Ooh, I'm sitting on the bus and now want to get home and get my knitting out!

My husband thinks I need to use up my stash before I buy anymore wool. I need a few stash busting pattern ideas I think. I could make some scarves or something I suppose.
