To be absolutely disgusted about comments on youtube re. DD

I am not a fan of plastering your child over social media/internet in general and avoid doing so as a rule.

XDH took DD to a football match on Sunday, an international between Brazil and Peru (she's 1/2 Brazilian) at the Emirates Stadium, they were briefly interviewed on the way out after the match by what looks like an Arsenal fan run organisation called arsenalfantv.com. All well and good, it was a short and innocuous experience for DD. The organisation then posted this to their youtube channel (and embedded it on their site and facebook), along with many other interviews, articles etc.

XDH texted to let me know and I went to have a look. I took a look at the comments below and was shocked to see that someone had posted "She is hot!!", there were 2 likes to the comment, there was also a reply saying that they were a regular user but have set up a new account specifically so they could agree with the comment and that she was "one of a kind" - so that's 4 people saying (or agreeing) that my 6 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER is hot. There were a few replies to the comments berating the posters as being sick (and other insults). Just to clarify - there was only one female in the video that they could be referring to.

I've reported the comments to Youtube but they are yet to do anything about it, I've also emailed the organisation that posted it asking for them to take it down which they are yet to reply to - the though of anyone looking at my CHILD in a sexual way is making me upset/sick/livid.

Has anyone else got any ideas as to what I can do to get this removed? Would any of you be prepared to report the comments if I gave you the link?

Can you take screenshots and report to the police? I don't know if they'd do anything about it but worth checking. How vile. It's not as though she could even have been mistaken as an adult at six. Good luck OP - what a horrible experience for you.

Awful, that's the thing with anonymous comments thorough it just brings the sickos out. That really is sick though, I thought you were going to say your daughter was 16 or something. Hopefully the organization will take it down soon.

Not that it matters but it was against Chile not Peru.

I completely empathise with you - it's sick, unsettling and fills one with despair for the future but.........this is the age we live in. If anything is put out there the sick fucks who comment on these things think it's fair game. I doubt YouTube will do anything - I've seen terrible comments there dating back years. I'd get on to the people who posted it and see if you can get her pixellated or better still the whole thing removed.

That's horrible and yes I'd be happy to report anything for you. Youtube is full of racist and sexist comments which are allowed to stand. I think if you contact the Arsenal organisation and ask them to do something you're more likely to get a result. They can disable comments or blur out your daughter or possibly take down the video altogether.

CaspoFungin - you're absolutely right it was Chile, shows you how much I follow football!

Thankyou BoobooChild - I'll PM you the link. I'll also keep on at the Arsenal organisation and hopefully they will do something themselves.

I think you'll have more luck with the posters than with YouTube too.

I can only think that "Hot" means something different to the young people these days, but I suspect I'm wrong Sad

That's grim, but if it's any consolation I'd bet my life savings it was just idiots malign stupid comments for attention as opposed to actual paedophiles.

How simply horrible.
I used to show DS a very innocent video on you tube of a 5 little sucks song he loves but I was sickened to realise from the comments that lots of people were attracted to watch it from the young girls in it.
Surely these anonymous users need to be traced if they have such perverse interest in a children's video as I'm sure a check of what they're up to could protect vulnerable children. Horrid to think of all these strange people
