To be absolutely disgusted about comments on youtube re. DD

I am not a fan of plastering your child over social media/internet in general and avoid doing so as a rule.

XDH took DD to a football match on Sunday, an international between Brazil and Peru (she's 1/2 Brazilian) at the Emirates Stadium, they were briefly interviewed on the way out after the match by what looks like an Arsenal fan run organisation called arsenalfantv.com. All well and good, it was a short and innocuous experience for DD. The organisation then posted this to their youtube channel (and embedded it on their site and facebook), along with many other interviews, articles etc.

XDH texted to let me know and I went to have a look. I took a look at the comments below and was shocked to see that someone had posted "She is hot!!", there were 2 likes to the comment, there was also a reply saying that they were a regular user but have set up a new account specifically so they could agree with the comment and that she was "one of a kind" - so that's 4 people saying (or agreeing) that my 6 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER is hot. There were a few replies to the comments berating the posters as being sick (and other insults). Just to clarify - there was only one female in the video that they could be referring to.

I've reported the comments to Youtube but they are yet to do anything about it, I've also emailed the organisation that posted it asking for them to take it down which they are yet to reply to - the though of anyone looking at my CHILD in a sexual way is making me upset/sick/livid.

Has anyone else got any ideas as to what I can do to get this removed? Would any of you be prepared to report the comments if I gave you the link?

atticus and discounted Shock Shock Shock On what planet does the little girl look like she's over 16?

MammaTJ · 31/03/2015 19:48

Sick bastards in this world!

Your DD is beautiful! BUT 6!

atticus look again when you have sobered up maybe!

tackytiger · 31/03/2015 19:55

Actually I agree with atticus. I was watching waiting for the OP's six year old to appear and only realised it was her after she spoke! I didn't really look at her at first, I was watching the man speaking and thought she was a tall young woman beside him.
Perhaps people were watching it with the sound down and didn't hear her obviously childlike voice? Clutching at straws here as it is horrifying to think that people would openly post such things about a little girl knowingly.

atticusfinchatemybaby · 31/03/2015 19:59

I admit I've always been terrible at guessing people's ages, and i was watching it on a phone. And yes, when she speaks she obviously sounds like a little girl. But i still think she looks much older than six. Not that this is any excuse, as i said before.

Gruntfuttock · 31/03/2015 20:03

Her head is half the size of the man's. It's obvious she's a child by that alone. Also why would anyone be watching a video of an interview with the sound down? They just wouldn't.

atticusfinchatemybaby · 31/03/2015 20:03

Just showed it to dh and asked how old he thought she was (without saying why). He looked for a minute and said 'six?'. Clearly i need new glasses....

CuppaTeaAndAJammieDodger · 31/03/2015 20:03

I can only see my DD as a little girl - but I'm hardly an objective opinion. Saying that, even with the sound off when she talks she behaves very shy and childlike, I find it hard to see how she could be mistaken for a (young) adult.

Anyway XDH is hopefully on the case with getting it removed, such a shame as DD was so excited about being on "TV".

And thank you so much for the compliments - she gets it from her mum ;)

HopOnTheMonnerBus · 31/03/2015 20:06

Actually I think she looks younger than I was expecting her to. I was expecting an older looking girl as that's the only way I could imagine someone making comments (perhaps 13/14 yr olds making comments about a girl looking 11/12 IYSWIM)
But she looks very young, clearly being held by her dad and clearly a little girl.

I'm so sorry you've had to experience this op, but glad that Arsenalfantv are taking action.

BlueBananas · 31/03/2015 20:11

She is quite clearly a little girl!!

It's obvious she is only a little girl. I have reported the comments too. Horrid. Hopefully they will remove it for you. She is very beautiful by the way.

Gruntfuttock · 31/03/2015 20:30

Paddingtonthebear I thought the comments had gone now. Are you saying you can still see them?

glittertits · 31/03/2015 20:32

Comments have been disabled for me.

duplodon · 31/03/2015 20:34

So sorry this happened.. I can't see comments just so you know.
