Just so rude and bloody annoying! Is it just me? It's counter productive and putting me of fucking Center Parcs for life!

I was just thinking the same thing! I've never wanted to go and this is putting me off even more - I might even have to shut down mumsnet for the day too unless it goes away!
More than bloody irritating.

Bambambini · 03/03/2015 12:24

Why not just start us to a chair and wedge our eyes open like Alex in ACO - it's the same concept! Fuck off!

Bambambini · 03/03/2015 12:25

Strap us!

So glad it's not just me! What a stupid, annoying advert.

NotOnMyWatchOhNo · 03/03/2015 12:30

No it is so bloody annoying, usually when you close them once that's it.
I will never go to center freakin parcs now. And surely it should be centre parks!!!! Can't even be bothered to do capital letters cos I'm so annoyed.

BertieBotts · 03/03/2015 12:31

Snort! With the MN meaning of Center Parcs (what's with the wanky "c" spelling anyway??) this takes on an entirely new meaning!

NotOnMyWatchOhNo · 03/03/2015 12:32

I've tried ignoring it but it's getting on my nerves, can't stand it so I'm off to read the Mail online!!

"I've tried ignoring it but it's getting on my nerves, can't stand it so I'm off to read the Mail online!!"

That really desperate! Just shows how bad it fucking is!

letsgotothebeach · 03/03/2015 12:36

Its awful! I'm off too.

IvyWall · 03/03/2015 12:37

It's driving me mad too

RandomNPC · 03/03/2015 13:05

Re CP, why is it so fucking expensive to go there? To live in a shed around a swimming pool?

Hoppinggreen · 03/03/2015 13:06

Thank God it's not just me.
It's cementing the fact that I frickin hate CP anyway!!!

KarinMurphy · 03/03/2015 13:08

I hate rude pop up ads at the bottom of the screen and I hate Centre Parcs. Pop up ads for Certre Parcs is driving me fecking crazy.

Methe · 03/03/2015 13:10

Cp looks shit anyway. Another reason to never go.

Pagwatch · 03/03/2015 13:10

why will it not close!

Jesus Christ - I'm not mning anymore until it stops. Every page I open, I have to close the bloody advert.

SomewhereIBelong · 03/03/2015 13:12

(tee heeeeee - if it puts everybody else off, maybe it will be quieter for those of us that love it!)

RatMort · 03/03/2015 13:12

Random, nicely put - why is it so expensive to stay in a shed by a pool???

I've never been to a CP, but every thread on here about them is full of dire-sounding 'tips' which suggests it's far from enjoyable. It sounds like lot of money to be smuggling in groceries, rather than pay a premium at the on-site shop, and doing complex unloading manoeuvres so you don't have to schlep your worldly goods across five miles of forest...?

stainedglassheart · 03/03/2015 13:17

I don't need an annoying strap message to remind CPs exist, plus I can't get rid of the thing! Shall desist from MNtting for a couple of days til it's cleared off my screen. Bahhhhh!

SomewhereIBelong · 03/03/2015 13:18

Unsure as to why everyone who hasn't actually stayed there insists it is crap....

(and where does the "shed" bit come from?)

TwoLittleTerrors · 03/03/2015 13:22

I thought it was nice when we went first time last November. It's far from a shed and I did buy all my groceries from the onsite mart.

TwoLittleTerrors · 03/03/2015 13:23

And not sure what is it about a lot of forests with your luggage. You park in front of your lodge on check in and out day.

RatMort · 03/03/2015 13:25

I'm not insisting its crap - I have no idea. I only heard of CP since being on MN, and I looked up the prices and was a bit taken aback, as I'd assumed from what people said about it on here that it was about cheap, low-key self-catering holidays.

Don't you stay in chalets or log-cabins?

cerealqueen · 03/03/2015 13:29

You need an advert blocker

here on Chrome

I don't get Ads now, on mumsnet or facebook or anywhere. It is liberating!!

Mummyusername · 03/03/2015 13:30

Wow! Some numpty really had to put in some effort to come up with something this annoying.
