The only way to eat it is with a spoon out of the pot

This is quite possibly the most leathal thread ever. So many ways to enjoy the best thing ever that I had no idea about. The peanut butter thing is amazing. Although Nutella cookies also rock. That said, I have spent many a happy hour with a spoon and a jar. There is sometimes no improving on perfection.

Coumarin · 02/03/2015 20:31

I've been no sugar for weeks. Just had strawberries dipped in melted Nutella because of this thread.

Coumarin · 02/03/2015 20:34

*Bread sticks.

Giant choc dip.*

OMG Shock

Coumarin · 02/03/2015 20:34

^bold fail but that was SecretNutellaFix's genius idea.

pieceofpurplesky · 02/03/2015 20:35

Saw a video with bread spread with Nutella with marshmallows on too, then topped off with more Nutella in bread. Then fried in butter like eggy bread. My arteries clogged just watching it .... But will have to try!

dougierose · 02/03/2015 20:41

You can buy the Nutella cookbook at Oliver Bonas at St Pancras station.

Nutella Eggy Bread: spread Nutella between 2 slices of bread, coat in egg/milk mixture and fry. Adjust waistband on trousers.

However, my Nutella bugbear is that they tried to market it as a healthy breakfast. "It contains hazelnuts, cocoa and milk. " BUT WHAT ABOUT THE FAT AND SUGAR???????? IT'S NOT HEALTHY@!!!!

dougierose · 02/03/2015 20:45

I gave the book to DD for xmas:

Financiers with Nutella p10.
Cigars with Nutella p58

Wtf?

But.... caramel cream lollies with Nutella drools

Duckdeamon · 02/03/2015 21:20

Pieceofpurpleskies, surely that would be going too far, sounds worse than the fried sarnies that killed Elvis!

(He would've loved Nutella too)

FreudiansSlipper · 02/03/2015 21:24

lovely on oat cakes too

can fool yourself you are having a healthy snack Grin

M&S spread is nice but it is not Nutella no chocolate spread is as good as Nutella

Pippin8 · 02/03/2015 21:32

Nutella is food of the gods.
Yum. I love it out of the jar but also on pancakes with peanut butter & banana.

MrsTedCrilly · 02/03/2015 22:07

I would have agreed with you once upon a time, until I ate a whole jar with a spoon and was as sick as a dog! Sad

MirandaGoshawk · 02/03/2015 22:22

Jar/spoon. Yep. Any other way is wasting time.

SASASI · 02/03/2015 23:08

A massive spoonful of Nutella stirred into porridge with raspberries or strawberries is my breakfast in the winter. Delicious!

SlinkyB · 02/03/2015 23:16

Must. Not. Get. Out. Of. Bed. To. Eat. Nutella.

(But am so trying some of these recipes tomorrow).

Between two multigrain ryvita. Or spread on a flatbread, folded in half and grilled. I could go on, I'm a connoisseur.

Morelikeguidelines · 03/03/2015 11:54

All I know is that if you have French people living in your house you must always have Nutella i.

teacupnic · 03/03/2015 12:00

Yabu. You discard the jar of Nutella and buy a jar of Morrisons chocolate orange spread instead. Then commence eating with spoon.

CapnMurica · 03/03/2015 12:02

I love Nutella.

That lotus spread is weird. And not a patch on Tesco choc chip cookie spread. Seriously could eat the whole thing with a spoon.

EbwyIsUpTheDuff · 03/03/2015 12:29

pizza dough base, nutella instead of tomato pizza saurce, and marshmallows & chocolate buttons as a topper...

chocolate pizza :D

EbwyIsUpTheDuff · 03/03/2015 12:30

*sauce, not "saurce"

cinders456 · 03/03/2015 13:11

Ready salted crisps dipped into nutella. The best.

DonttouchthatLarry · 03/03/2015 13:31

DH has stopped buying it as it kept disappearing...... might have been me with a spoon

gotredonyou · 03/03/2015 13:50

Creamy porridge with 1 tbsp. of nuttella, 2 tbsp. of peanut butter & a sliced banana..mmm

SlinkyB · 03/03/2015 14:17

I never knew it was possible to love or hate an Internet stranger, let alone in equal measures.

SecretNutellaFix and your breadsticks idea, I'm talking to you!
