The only way to eat it is with a spoon out of the pot

I make little filo pastry rolls containing Nutella and banana, and deep fry them. They are delicious.

I don't do this often, because they are about eleventy million calories each.

FurryTrousers · 02/03/2015 17:56

No.

Spread on toasted buttered maltloaf is best.

OhFlippityBolax · 02/03/2015 18:00

Very true inanimate!

No no no I'm sorry.

The real issue here is why o0's autocorrect is capitalising TOASTIE.

Why would you always need TOASTIE in capitals?

Have you had cause, in the last few months, to write TOASTIE repeatedly in capitals o0?

o0 · 02/03/2015 18:12

I can't think of any TOASTIE conversations at all, nevermind ones that mean I had to shout it. Grin

It's a mystery.

TOASTIE TOASTIE TOASTIE

i have a nutella peanut butter banana toastie for breakfast most mornings. Best thing ever.

MargotLovedTom · 02/03/2015 18:26

Another afficionado of nutella and digestive sandwich, but with peanut butter - have never had cashew butter but I know I'd like it too much.

piggychops · 02/03/2015 18:32

Hideous stuff, full of hydrogenated Palm oil. It's basically an anti-nutrient...

Coumarin · 02/03/2015 18:38

Yes and it tastes amazing.

YANBU, although I am intruiged by this rich-tea-biscuit-dipping idea.

StepfauxWife · 02/03/2015 19:18

It's also pretty good mixed with Lotus biscoff spread.

I'm defo trying the snickers toastie. Drool.

livefastlove · 02/03/2015 19:20

That's funny oO perhaps your iPad loves TOASTIES! My phone always capitalises the word TRUE which makes me sound very emphatic.

Lozy79 · 02/03/2015 19:21

Aibu....ive never tried Nutella!!!

pepperfish · 02/03/2015 19:27

Inside a warm croissant with plenty of salty butter! Smile

SecretNutellaFix · 02/03/2015 20:00

ACED · 02/03/2015 20:00

Hi Snozberry - I have to use up three 400g jars of Nutella soon for my daughters science experiment - so these brownies you speak of - is it just a case of mix it all up? And then how long and how high do they cook for?

vvviola · 02/03/2015 20:07

YANBU. However that is the reason why I don't have it in the house .... Me, a spoon, one pot doesn't last long.

I got a special dairy free version for DD2 recently which is nice on toast and croissants but is a bit grainy or something so I can't eat it by the spoonful. It may be just the thing....

WiggleGinger · 02/03/2015 20:13

I treat it like yoghurt
Pot spoon boom

MrsMaker83 · 02/03/2015 20:13

Yanbu

Has anybody tried biscoff spread too? Omg amazing. Especially the crunchy one Grin

londonrach · 02/03/2015 20:15

You eat this stuff...now marmite..on crisp toasted bread...yum

Duckdeamon · 02/03/2015 20:17

Yes Mrsmaker, my DB recently brought me a jar of biscoff when he visited, filthy fantastic stuff!

Krispy Kreme are even doing a biscoff donut! We have not located an outlet yet.

We agree that Nutella still wins though.

iklboo · 02/03/2015 20:20

It's the hazelnuts for me. I hate hazelnuts - the smell, the taste. Yuck. Do they just do pots of spreadable chocolate? Cos I could probably try that out.
