Elsa's fucking shoe

I have just spent an HOUR looking for Elsa's missing shoe. It's only the 27th and it's already cost me an hour. I now have both shoes. Would I be unreasonable to glue the fuckers on, or hide them until she's old enough to find them herself?!?

(in case anyone is in a similar predicament, it was in the basket on the front of the hideous pink bike bloody Santa Claus got her for Christmas).

Tell her she's being the wrong princess - she can't Elsa with only one shoe, she'll just have tone Cinderella instead.

debka - she hasn't realized it comes off yet. I only noticed it was held on with a band thingie after she'd been playing with it for a while so I've left it attached.

Elsa's crown is now lurking somewhere in the innards of our washing machine after DD2 gave it to me for safe keeping. Not my fault - i did warn her that the safest place for it would be on Elsa's head.

At least you can glue shoes on. Try dealing with all the little projectiles 4yo ds has on his toys. These are actually designed to be fired and lost behind your sofa. I just refuse to look for them.

We had issues with Elsa's fucking crown after the band was discovered and its removal demanded.

Discovered under the mattress of them bed after at least a million billion man hours devoted to the hunt spurred on dd.

I've glued bits of playmobil together in the past (think flowers on stalks etc), it seems my children are stronger than superglue because they aren't stuck together any more...

So glad dd got the rag doll elsa and Anna. Baby annabel however, keeps loosing her dummy.
We haven't opened the Lego yet!

YANBU. Elsa has already lost her shoes and has a huge birds nest of hair. Getting twitchy about various Monster High missing handbags, earings, limbs. And don't mention the Playmobil and Lego mountains.

I've been told I will miss all this when they only want a tablet and cash for Christmas.

Superglue - what a fantastic idea!!!!
I once spent days over Christmas on and off trying to track down the shoe/boot from a barbie type doll...it had to be somewhere
(I hate losing things, I find myself constantly looking for them -it becomes verging on the obsessive and I hate looking for things...)
I looked through the bins, in the hoover bag, sofa cushions etc etc absolutely everywhere...
Taking down the Christmas tree I found it balanced on a branch 3/4 of the way up - how?????
Then a couple of weeks later she was carrying the doll round Tescos -when we got back to the car I found it was missing a boot again...we went all round the (massive) store looking for it - under shelves etc...but couldn't find it ...for weeks after I asked at customer services and was constantly looking in there but I never did find it - it was just always destined to be lost....

ROAR yes the small boy toys are just designed to be lost aren't they?! Maybe you can make a game out of it. Tell them they are going to be extreme nook and cranny explorers. Make them crawl behind the sofa, under rugs, into cupboards etc. Might get you a bit of peace and quiet for a while!

Lost dd's radio control car charger somewhere between my nan and dad's houses. Lots of phone calls. May be in my sister's present bag or on the drive or behind my dad's show rack... Argh!

We lost all 24 nerf gun bullets within 20 minutes. I refuse to look for them
