Quality Street tin

We have a tin of Quality Street unopened which we are taking to SIL's. WIBU to prise off the Sellotape around the tin, steal a couple of strawberry cremes, then replace lid and tape?

Is it unreasonable? If so I am! Have just done it! I have no guilt. The sweets were delicious!

The little bags of strawberry cremes are Roses They have the Golden Barrels on their own too. I was in Poundland this afternoon.

I blame you lot for the fact that I've now unwrapped XP's granny's wrapped box of after-eights from under the tree and taken them to my bed. Led astray. Not my fault.

And FYI there are eight strawberry creams in one of those wee baggies. Used them in gift bags for dd's birthday outing and there was not one left over after I'd shared them out between the eight bags. bugger

When me and my brother were kids we used to be able to get the Roses jar open without breaking the seal.

Come Christmas i remember my dad moaning about the fact that there were hardly any purple ones or golden barrels.
One year my godmother (she cant read English its not her first language) wrapped up a pretty pink box of chocolates for me when i was 11 or 12 . They were whisky liquears. i had eaten 3 quarters of the box before my parents realised

Helena my granny doesn't drink alcohol so when someone gave her a box of cherry liqueurs, she rinsed them out under the tap and ate the hollow chocolates

I only like the coconuts. Why don't they do bags of those?? And, is it just me, or did the use to be in green wrappers and now they're in blue? Why? Do they gave a wrapper committee do you think, that's works these things out!

I think you're right Toothless actually .... they did used to be in a green wrapper, a pale minty green IIRC (sad choc fiend). Think the departed cracknels used to be blue.

Well at SILs now. The tin is fully open. My crime has gone undetected. Plus I have necked a ton of strawberry and orange creams, washed down with Baileys. It is definitely Xmas!

The conduct of the opening poster shows evidence of deeply disturbed thought processes, the strawberry ones in the quality street are one of the least good ones. She would have been better advised to target the caramel barrels.

And sorry to say I may have caused some confusion up thread. I was in the Co-op today, and the strawberry creme bags I mentioned are actually Roses, not Quality Street. They're still yummy, though.

I have sickened myself on chocs now.....

Opened my Quality Street Purely Purple Ones. Only had 3 and they taste sickly to me. Ive been on the slimming world plan too long. Its changed my taste in everything. I used to LOVE these.
