To ask why my other thread got closed?

Bit annoyed that the last few pages were spent completely slating me and I now don't have a chance to defend myself?

Feel as though it all turned into a bit of a witch hunt in the end and it would have been nice (not to mention fair) if I was given the opportunity to at least counter being called a snake and a terrible friend and accused of instigating a bitch fest.

Sorry if starting this thread goes against any rules??

OP posts:
AlPacinosHooHaa · 26/11/2014 11:40

Can't believe you started another thread about this.

I know, very telling.

MunningCockery · 26/11/2014 15:59

AlPacinosDoDah What the fuck is with the 'hmmmmm ' "I know, very telling." 'Very telling' of what preciselyHmm

Seriously, are you on something that's taking you to a spaced out place? (And if you are, can I have some too pleaseGrin)

OP DIDN'T "can't believe you started another thread about this" - RTFT FFS? HTH? Or if it doesn't, I'll help you out instead eh?

1: OP was asking (the clue's in the title;) why 'thread got closed?' As she, rightly IMO, wanted to correct some of the --truly NUTS - stuff that was being written about her. Someone upthread pointed out it was as all threads stop at 1000 posts, to which OP replied "Oh right, thanks for the explanation!"

2: OP then wrote "OK well just for the purpose of my own sanity I will make these last points and never post about it again." So she got the opp to make the points she wanted to and for CLOSURE of the fucking issue (since she HADN'T had that opp at end of her own thread as weird people filled it up mainly with utter BS... and a few superior "I know.... types too as it got full)

3 (& finally): Your dumb Q. of: 'why did you bother posting? very odd. to have a big pat on the back?' Erm, noooooooo - OP posted to sense check her thinking and ask for views. Which she then listened to??? Hence her re-toning her swubsequent reply to friend in a way she propably wouldn't have if she hadn't had the constructive different views vis poss place firend was in not referring to the nutters here, simply those who 'got' she didn't want to damage friendship irreprably but WAS frickin pissed off

Honestly. It really is folks like you - and your 'erm, VERY telling' quackery that gives MN such a bad bloody name.

Go and do some knitting or something. Just anything that isn't peddling your amateur Poirot 'very telling....." BS and laying into OP all over AGAIN - truly, did you not have enough fun the first time round???Hmm

OP - ignore, ignore, ignore, IGNORE [You get gistWink]

squoosh · 26/11/2014 16:35

Christ almighty calm down. It wasn't AlPacinosHooHaa who said 'Can't believe you started another thread about this', it was me. And yes the OP did.

You seem far too invested in this issue, what's with all the snarky crossed out sentences? Pathetically childish.

skaen · 26/11/2014 16:37

So many messages. Op, your friend really doesn't deserve you.

Tinks42 · 26/11/2014 16:44

Take it all with a pinch of salt OP, I get called a cunt and everything on here Grin

Bulbasaur · 26/11/2014 16:56

1000 posts about a kid not taking his shoes off. Grin

Do we really need another thread?

It's petty. It's done and over.

Talk to your friend, make up. Meet somewhere outside the house on neutral ground, like a park for your kids to play.

madsadbad · 26/11/2014 17:29

OK well just for the purpose of my own sanity I will make these last points and never post about it again

Liar, liar pants on fire Grin

MunningCockery · 26/11/2014 17:32

I know who wrote what Squoosh - on account of the fact I can read and (more importantly) DO read what's written. My post to AlPaHooHaa was vis her erm.... *"I know, very 'telling'. comment.

And I'm feeling snarky (great word BTW) as beyond irritated at posters who DON'T RTT - something that seems to be happening more and more on MN; ditto poor OP who has been roundly laid into by those determined to be 'right' even when their idea of 'right' v simply conflicts with the facts (witness the repitition of the wellies/tap scenario even though it's been clearly pointed out as a non-starter on numerous ocassions).

Both of the above just undermine any kind of actual discussion, and with an element of goady fuckery in to boot (no pun intended).

HTH? As is last time I'm bothering to post what is blindingly obvious to/for those whose marbles seem to have lost their run structure...

squoosh · 26/11/2014 17:37

Yes, some people do indeed appear to have mislaid their marbles.

Ahem.

MistyMistletoe · 26/11/2014 19:19

I have read full thread Mam'222. You ANBU in the slightest and I wish you and your soon to be expanded all the best for the future Flowers.

However I have discovered I have ishoos of my own because:-

A) I have unconsciously eaten a full Terry's Chocolate Orange whilst reading full thread (after already having had a naughty but nice calorific coffee);

B) Allowed myself to be seduced by the pretty pictures of Twig Lights and just bought one via 1 Click on Amazon. Well, they are pretty!

I am DOOMED aren't I?

MistyMistletoe · 26/11/2014 19:19

*Soon to be expanded family.
