Or anywhere else for that matter! I know this has been discussed on here before but I have to vent somewhere.

The word "lil" instead of little

One woman constantly calls everyone "missy"

People calling me "love". I don't mind this in areas of Britain where being called "love" is a normal part of the vocabulary but where I'm from it just seems to have replaced the annoying "chick". e.g. "Alright my chick?" Has now been replaced with "Okay love".

Cannot STAND it...Aaarghh!

Really annoying when people say Rant Over at the end of the post. Also dislike the use of "simples" since the annoying advert.

madsadbad · 14/11/2014 13:04

None of those words annoy me, the only one that does is frape- I think its fucking vulgar.

stopgap · 14/11/2014 13:04

I currently can't stand, "this guy" or "these two" as a title for cutesy pictures.

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 14/11/2014 13:05

I hate "lil"

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 14/11/2014 13:07

Luckily i manage to avoid it, in the main, by not having Facebook. It's a beautiful thing.

ReggieJones · 14/11/2014 13:09

I detest Frape.

Blaaahdeblahdeblah · 14/11/2014 13:16

Agree with all of the words mentioned above as annoying.

Frape is disgusting, it's used now without thinking of what it actually means.

I have tried many times to delete Facebook from my life but am always lured back. I seriously think it's an addiction.

I loathe 'frape', got into an argument with my cousin and his rugby team mates over it (I know, I know, I should've stayed well out of it) and deleted him. It's a horrible, horrible word that trivialises rape.

Serenitysutton · 14/11/2014 13:18

You have the wrong type of friends!

Winterbells · 14/11/2014 13:18

Frape is the only one that bothers me. It makes my skin crawl. How anybody thinks it is acceptable I do not know.

End of.

No, not end of just because you say so. It's basically telling people to shut up because their word is final.

MarjorieMelon · 14/11/2014 13:24

It's not an expression but I hate it when people use the word "are " when they mean "our" e.g "We love are new home".

The first time I saw it I just assumed that the person didn't have a good grasp of English but I'm seeing it all the time now. Why has this happened?

pippinleaf · 14/11/2014 13:24

I can't bear being called 'Hun'. Makes me shudder.

vichill · 14/11/2014 13:25

Oh my days gets on my nerves.

500smiles · 14/11/2014 13:28

.com after everything

as in fedup.com tired.com etc etc

fuckoffyoutwat.com

MarjorieMelon · 14/11/2014 13:28

One friend doesn't post her own words but posts loads of those posters with quotes on. Judging from this weeks posters I'm getting the impression that her boyfriend has been unfaithful.

browneyedgirl86 · 14/11/2014 13:29

I hate cheeky. As in "just going out for a cheeky curry/ice cream/any food here"

Or Fantabulous which I'm seeing frequently now!

charliewolf · 14/11/2014 13:31

Can't abide "use" or "yous" for plural you, think this might be peculiar to the north-west

CountBapula · 14/11/2014 13:32

Cutesy hashtags.

#lovemylilman
#snuggles
#fuckoff

browneyedgirl86 · 14/11/2014 13:44

How could I forget about hashtags! I saw one the other day that said #lifeisnotcompletewithoutbabyfeet.

Shock
Blaaahdeblahdeblah · 14/11/2014 13:47

The "Gawjus" one I hate too although I have saw it as "Gorjissss"
