She's a crap DJ, she sounds like she's reading off a script and her nasal, whiny tone is reminiscent of nails being dragged down a chalkboard.

I love Tony Blackburn though. I am so sad that I can usually guess which year and what was no 1 without him saying.

Couldnt agree more. I have it on now as I love the music but her voice is so irritating and her laugh makes me want to break the radio!

There are plenty of other people who could make a much better job of that show than she does!

I'm right there with you. I love songs from the shows but I just can't bear to listen to her. I wish BBC2 would replace her because it's a show I'd otherwise love. My vote is for Jodie Prenger to it - she sometimes stands in for Paul O'Grady and she's great at radio. Who do I write to at the Beeb to suggest it?

I love the music though. Great ones today..Scottsboro boys, Yentl.....but she is awful.
And as for break a leg.......

Break a Leg is excrutiating but I think that is more down to the amateur lovies that call in!

Still, i love Graham Norton. He read out one of my answers to a Grill Graham problem! Hate Elaine, but show tunes ate not my bag really. I have a go at pop master some days with Ken Bruce and i do like the oldies on Steve Wright, the public choose bettet tunes than the D J s. no ads either on radio two so thats a bonus..

I can't stand Elaine's show, either.

The show I really despise, though, is Steve Wright's Sunday sodding Love Songs, which, with all its smug talk of soulmates and loved-dedications, sometimes feels like an act of aggression against the unhappily-single.

Wogan can be OK, but his singing along with the records makes me want to throw the radio through the window.

Ken Bruce is excellent, though.

They are the kind of tedious detritus the BBC really needs to flush out. They've both ridden the gravy train for too fucking long.

Michael Ball is great. Totally agree about Steve Wright and his fucking soulmates. I always think they'll be shagging on the side.
