To think two slices of toast is standard?

Fedupofplaystation · 11/10/2014 21:39

Been in bed most of the day with awful PGP. Struggling to move.

35 weeks pregnant.

Text DH to request some toast and he brought up one measly slice. He is now huffing around because I had the audacity to ask for a second slice.

Surely, when making toast, two slices is the norm unless a different number of slices is specifically requested from the outset?

He are the other piece.......

Anotherchapterinthebookofdead · 11/10/2014 21:40

*ate!

Behoove · 11/10/2014 21:41

One is measly. Two is normal.

TheSkiingGardener · 11/10/2014 21:42

Definitely 2 needed! It's his own silly fault

bodhranbae · 11/10/2014 21:43

2 slices is not just standard, it is law.
One with marmite and one with jam.
LTB

wanttosqueezeyou · 11/10/2014 21:43

Two is the both the norm and the correct number (minimum).

Why even bother with one?

Hedgehogging · 11/10/2014 21:43

Definitely two. Otherwise you're just starting to enjoy it and then it's over.

Hmmmm.

Iggly · 11/10/2014 21:44

Mmmm

Well I'd prefer one at a time. Not two together as the other one would get cold.

So he should know that. And I bet he does, hence only giving you one.

ItsFunnierInEnochian · 11/10/2014 21:44

LTB.

Thats outrageous Grin

Whippet81 · 11/10/2014 21:44

What was he thinking really?

SetPhasersTaeMalkie · 11/10/2014 21:44

Two is normal. What's the point of one?

Dumbledoresgirl · 11/10/2014 21:45

PGP? Confused

Aeroflotgirl · 11/10/2014 21:45

2 slices here too

FunkyBoldRibena · 11/10/2014 21:45

Why would a toaster have two slots otherwise?

Seriously. He needs help.

JADS · 11/10/2014 21:45

35 weeks pg with PGP - no, never unreasonable. Two slices is the norm, he's even worse in that he made 2 slices and ate one Shock

MrsPnut · 11/10/2014 21:45

One slice is a child's portion, and two slices is normal.

LadyLuck10 · 11/10/2014 21:46

Two is definitely the normGrin

SeashellHoarder · 11/10/2014 21:47

2 slices is the MINIMUM. In the third trimester I would say 3 slices.

o0 · 11/10/2014 21:47

One slice? One slice?

He's fit for nowt but the patio!

42notTrendy · 11/10/2014 21:47
  1. One marmite, other either peanut butter or marmalade. Or if you have posh butter, just that. 1 is simply not done.
GilesGirl · 11/10/2014 21:48

I only eat one.

But I know I'm weird.

Mintyy · 11/10/2014 21:48

What is pgp?

Honestly, if you can't even get out of bed, do you need medical attention?

Surely its not normal to be bedridden unless you have something else really serious going on.

DoJo · 11/10/2014 21:50

PGP - Pelvic Girdle Pain presumably, so severely limiting mobility, but not in need of constant medical attention...

VermillionPorcupine · 11/10/2014 21:51

Just one when pregnant and stuck in bed? Fuck me, I would have had his head off. I'd fully expect 4 tbh.

Dumbledoresgirl · 11/10/2014 21:51

If you get an answer to your first question Mintyy, do let me know. I've searched the acronym list and googled but only come up with some data encryption thing pretty good privacy.
