To admit I am addicted to Geordie Shore?

I've always thought it was utter rubbish and have never watched it until very recently when dd1 wanted to and I said I'd have to check it out first. There's no way she is watching it, it glamorises drinking and promiscuous sex.

I am now pretty much addicted and have found myself watching all 8 seasons either on tv or online in secret!

I'm not really sure why I like it as I don't like drinking or dancing which is what they spend most of their time doing when they're not having sex. There's just something about it! It's really addictive and a bit of light relief!

I can't even say I am reliving my youth as I didn't go and get drunk every night then either! And no I definitely don't want to be them, I would not enjoy getting drunk every night and kissing random blokes!

It's a bit of a secret pleasure.

The 9th season starts in October and I can't wait!

My DH went to school with James who Vicky is currently dating, his mum lives in the village and was saying she prefers Vicky to the other woman he was dating from The Only Way Is Essex

Oh my god, I love this programme! I found it last year, and watched all 8 seasons in the space of about 2 weeks. It's so cringeworthy, it's fab!

Did you watch last weeks finale? I was practically shouting at the TV, I loved it. Vicky has absolutely made it for me this season, I've loved her. Hope she's this much fun when she's got a boyfriend next season- so excited we only have to wait til October.

I love Vicky too! Her catch phrases are great... Who is her boyfriend next season? And what do you make of the whole Queen V hashtag on the new adverts... No more Anna? Vicky has always been in charge anyway

Absolutely not, it's cracking entertainment. I'd recommend The Valleys next - if you thought those Geordies were bad, watch out!!

I didn't like the Valleys either. Charlotte has been very withdrawn the past couple of seasons, I used to love her but she seemed to change to suit her boyfriend- she doesn't seem to get glammed up for nights out, purposefully doesn't interact with the single lads, what's the point of going in the house if you're gonna do that? But I did read that she is now single again, I don't know if that's during the October season or not.

I never used to like Vicky, but I think she's gotten much warmer this season- wonder if thats anything to do with being kicked off last season? Her one liners have literally had me laughing out loud. Her boyfriend isn't on the show, as far as I know, they've been together for about 6/7 months I think now?

I don't think Charlotte was as bad this season but the last one she always seemed so miserable. And Mitch seemed like a right prick.

I watch the valleys but it's no way as good.

Charlotte and Mitch have now split so she'll be single for the ninth series and hopefully back to her best. I LOVED Vicky, um, tashing on with Gary in series 8. What a shocka!

He's slept with Holly, Charlotte and Marnie as well as tashing on with Vicky.

I think Sophie was the only one who escaped.

The 9th series was filmed a while ago, and I think she split with him during/after being in the house from what I've read online, so she might not be back to herself just yet.

Whoever said Holly looks great this season was spot on, the change in her is massive- she seems to have so much more self respect as well, she's been so fun to watch this season.
