I have a newish partner of seven months. We are going on a camping holiday next week us DC and my DM. The noise I'm dreading is the noise I make. He is pretty awesome in sack and I've been really loud lately. Short of not DTD next week what else can I do?

Really?

EmeraldLion · 16/08/2014 13:11

If all in one tent...don't DTD.

For all the sound proofing a tent gives, you just as well be in the same room. Do you DTD with dm and dc in the same room? I'd hope assume not.

magpiegin · 16/08/2014 13:11

Just be quiet- surely we've all done it with someone you don't want to hear in the next room or similar?

expatinscotland · 16/08/2014 13:11

When do the schools go back again?

thismumismad · 16/08/2014 13:13

I guess it'll be a dry week for me

WorraLiberty · 16/08/2014 13:13

Put a sock in it...

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 16/08/2014 13:14

Sneak off to the loos.

merrydebs · 16/08/2014 13:15

Sounds a bit like.....bragging?

ilovesooty · 16/08/2014 13:16

For goodness sake. Abstain for a week or stfu.

thismumismad · 16/08/2014 13:19

Yup that probably would have been my answer a year ago

Groovee · 16/08/2014 13:20

Learn to be quiet! But I wouldn't be shagging in the same tent as someone else!

picnicbasketcase · 16/08/2014 13:21

Jeez. Can you really not either sneak off for a while or go without? I hope you're not sharing a tent with anyone else if you're intending to still be at it like knives.

firesidechat · 16/08/2014 13:25

You can't even have quiet sex in a tent, let alone noisy sex. Every sound carries. So don't so it.

How old OP? Your post sounds very juvenile and teenagery.

firesidechat · 16/08/2014 13:26

do it not so it.

PureMorning · 16/08/2014 13:27

Why would you be shagging someone inches away from your children?

IsabellaofFrance · 16/08/2014 13:28

Are you 19 OP??

Wigglykitten · 16/08/2014 13:30

Honestly don't do it. You can hear every whisper and rustle of a sleeping bag from your tent and those all around you. If you have a night with heavy rain then you'll probably be able to get away with it, as the noise of the rain on the tent is so loud and drowns everything else out.

LaundryFairy · 16/08/2014 13:31

Have my first Biscuit

thismumismad · 16/08/2014 13:34

Yes isobel plus twenty. Excuse me everybody for wasting your time. Yes I will probably abstain due to not wanting to disturb anyone. I just thought I might get some decent tips from other screamers.

OP posts:
Tinkerball · 16/08/2014 13:34

Eww

picnicbasketcase · 16/08/2014 13:35

You have. The tip is, don't do it.

Tinkerball · 16/08/2014 13:36

Oh away with you, you weren't looking for "tips" at all, you must be a few tent pegs short if you think folk will believe that. It's not rocket science to understand how much sound - any sound - carries in tents.

firesidechat · 16/08/2014 13:37

I once lived next door to a screamer. It was bloody awful.
