I have a newish partner of seven months. We are going on a camping holiday next week us DC and my DM. The noise I'm dreading is the noise I make. He is pretty awesome in sack and I've been really loud lately. Short of not DTD next week what else can I do?

Lol if you knew you were gunna be at it then you should have at least thought of buying seperate tents. If your gunna I'm sure you have a car you can can go off and shag in. Not your best idea there girl

SirNoel · 16/08/2014 13:39

Tips? What kinds of tips do you think people might have for this, other than 'shut the fuck up' ?

Glue empty egg boxes to the inside of your pod, as sound proofing- that type of thing?

StripyBanana · 16/08/2014 13:39

Nope not possible. Every Single Sound is heard. Your next door neighbour campers will know exactly what time you got up to pee, anything you discuss etc. It really is like being in the same room, never mind same house!!

I'm also curious as to whatothers do. We abstained for a weekend but would like to be more creative next time...

Thank you stripey. I've never been camping before and had visions of it being as described here.

Ball gag?

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 16/08/2014 14:14

Pissing myself at the empty eggboxes Grin

Idontseeanyicegiants · 16/08/2014 14:53

Can't be done Grin
We always end up in different bits of the tent anyway with one of the DC's but even so once you've got beyond the hugely noisy air bed, pissing around with the sleeping bags and past the 15 layers of clothing you end up wearing to bed it's completely pointless. Plus the fact you'll separated from your kids and your Mum by a thin sheet!
Not to mention that any unexpected light source gives the rest of the camp a porn flavoured shadow puppet show.. (Yes, I really did see that at a festival a couple of years ago)...

fluffyraggies · 16/08/2014 14:55

God i'm noisy in bed when there's no need to keep quiet, (ie: other people awake in the next room), i expect allot of people are. However it's really NOT that hard to stay quiet if you need to. You sound pretty daft OP. Sorry. And surely this is not the first occasion in your life when you've had to not scream and howl during sex?? Confused

AmyFlower · 16/08/2014 15:03

Could you sneak off somewhere e.g. into the bushes at the periphery of the campsite? Perhaps take a blanket and pillow to lie or kneel on!

GoringBit · 16/08/2014 15:06

Erect it under a bridge?

FoxSticks · 16/08/2014 15:24

Not so Stealth boast about your sex life? You might have to just abstain for the week.

I8toys · 16/08/2014 15:24

Don't do it - you can hear every grunt, fart, snore, sneeze around you. They will hear the moment of penetration all around the campsite.

And if you do make sure you don't have a light on as your silouhette will provide an entertaining show for fellow campers who may start sharing popcorn.

You could always put the kids and your mum in the caravan on your profile pics.

Deverethemuzzler · 16/08/2014 16:14

What is it with all the sex threads lately?

Oh yeah, its the summer holidays.

I find it slightly ironic on these wild and caraaazeee sex life threads that grown women call it DTD instead of sex.

thismumismad · 16/08/2014 17:45

Where else in the world could I ask such a question? Yes this is the first time in my life I've been unable control the noise. Troll???? Nah not me, that is not a naice thing to say, as for the other word hobnobs, ODFO if you don't have anything nice to say.... The caravan was next doors who decided to take MY hedge down and park it over my side of the boundary. Thank you to all those who had constructive things to say I'll bear it in mind.

Does anyone else read 'DTD' as a tuneful 'dee-tee-deeeeee' like someone merrily singing a tune as they skip down a lovely path to a garden full of flowers?
No? Never mind then.

Dunno why you're looking for 'decent tips'.

Sounds like you've already found one Grin
