Yuck smug yuck yuck smug yuck

PotOfYoghurt · 06/06/2014 07:13

Not as much as how they spelt memento...

OwlinaTree · 06/06/2014 07:14

Wow. I could send my husband to work with breast milk cufflinks on! Grin

Talisawasnotsupposedtobethere · 06/06/2014 07:17

Umbilical stump 'crumbs'?!

SandorClegane · 06/06/2014 07:20

It's not really my bag but it doesn't make me feel at all queasy because breast milk isn't at all disgusting. The one with a wee bit of shrivelled up umbilical cord is a bit rank though.

OHforDUCKScake · 06/06/2014 07:30

Ergh I agree.

Im pro breast feeding (not that pro myself breast feeding right now, desperately trying to wean my 3 year old) but this make me feel all grim and weird. I just see them as balls of cheese.

DizzyKipper · 06/06/2014 07:44

I wouldn't want any form of food made into jewellery personally.

mindthegap79 · 06/06/2014 07:47

We need a nauseated face icon please MNHQ...

I breastfeed, but just no no NO!

OHforDUCKScake · 06/06/2014 07:53

Envy mindthegap79

lljkk · 06/06/2014 07:56

How is it different from wearing any other food product?
Better than that Steak dress some Sleb wore.

mindthegap79 · 06/06/2014 07:57

Umbilical cord crumbs in a bubble Envy (this colour) Sad (this expression)

LadyNexus · 06/06/2014 07:59

Holy shit!

No, no, no one would wear those!

I breast fed until 12 months, felt very proud of myself....never felt the urge to wear any of it though Shock

mindthegap79 · 06/06/2014 08:00

True lljkk, but I felt the same about the steak dress. I like to keep my food and my clothes totally separate, otherwise knowing me I'd end up putting tights away in the fridge and satsumas in the sock drawer.

WyrdByrd · 06/06/2014 08:02

They're quite pretty, but can you imagine your average teenagers face when you tell them what their babyhood memento is made of?!

ikeaismylocal · 06/06/2014 08:37

I really like them and would like one myself but I am pregnant and my milk is drying up :(

PorkPieandPickle · 06/06/2014 08:46

I have one. They're pretty, how is it disgusting? It's just milk FFS.

DandyDelores · 06/06/2014 08:51

No different to e.g. keeping a lock of hair in a locket, ashes in an urn etc IMO. It's just a special memento. I would have gone for one if I had known about it whilst I was breastfeeding.

KenAdams · 06/06/2014 08:55

Don't see a problem with it, but charm bracelets are for 12 year olds, surely?

pointythings · 06/06/2014 08:56

I once suggested (tongue in cheek) to my midwife that we should all be collecting some of our baby's first dirty nappy, encasing it in crystal and calling it 'cubic meconium'.

YANBU.

dexter73 · 06/06/2014 08:57

How about 'Baby's first poo necklace'?

im all for breast feeding
VisitTheInfidelWithExplanatory · 06/06/2014 08:59

It's a bit bonkers, but the jewelry is quite cute and if it makes people happy then its a good thing, surely?

Sparklingbrook · 06/06/2014 09:03

OMG mrsb. They are bonkers. What were you googling to find them? Grin

everythinghippie29 · 06/06/2014 09:05

Thanks to breastfeeding my pukey DS I find I wear quite enough (regurgitated) breast milk!

The prices of them! Yipes!

Catsize · 06/06/2014 09:12

Hmmm. Find it kind of intriguing.
