AIBU to report my housemate for harrassment?

My housemate is very unfriendly, she ignores me often, and will leave the room when I enter. She will also occasionally close doors after I leave the room, with more force than needed.

AIBU to report her to the police for bullying and harrasment?

Are you on glue?

IAmTheGodOfTitsAndWine · 07/05/2014 15:58

Is this about a tv show or a joke I'm not getting?

LuisSuarezTeeth · 07/05/2014 15:59
Confused

Ummm let me think...

LoveBomber · 07/05/2014 15:59

Erm...

MagnaCharge · 07/05/2014 16:03

Gotta be a pretend to be a film/tv character thread. Can't work out which one though.

LittleMisslikestobebythesea · 07/05/2014 16:03

I don't know what to say!

Cailleach · 07/05/2014 16:03

I thought the kids were back at school...mine are, anyway.

IAmTheGodOfTitsAndWine · 07/05/2014 16:04

That's what I thought, MagnaCharge.

DidoTheDodo · 07/05/2014 16:06

bemused....

MaidOfStars · 07/05/2014 16:06

Wouldn't ignoring you, removing herself from the same space as you and creating solidly-closed barrier between you be the very opposite of harassment?

Forgettable · 07/05/2014 16:06

Wait, what?

Tiredmumno1 · 07/05/2014 16:06

I was gonna say maybe it's her cat, then I realised cats do not close doors Grin

BabyGwyneth · 07/05/2014 16:07

Sadly it's not a joke. This literally happened (I'm not the housemate who made the accusation, but I was trying to see things from her side.)

Glad to know that I'm not the only one who thinks this is psycotic.

Well.

DidoTheDodo · 07/05/2014 16:07

Is she a ghost? (clutches at straws)

MargotLovedTom · 07/05/2014 16:07

Yes! Definitely report her, it's harassment of the worst kind. I actually felt a little bit sick when I read it. Let us know how you get on.

MargotLovedTom · 07/05/2014 16:08

Oh. X post.

BabyGwyneth · 07/05/2014 16:09

MaidofStars THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT.

Please, enough of the reverse AIBUs. They are doing my head in today.

MaidOfStars · 07/05/2014 16:10

Your housemate reported you to the police because you ignored/left the room/closed doors behind her?

Is SHE on glue?

But....do you like her? Is it on purpose? It seems quite passive-aggressive, so can imagine it getting someone down. It's not criminal though.

MexicanSpringtime · 07/05/2014 16:11

And what did the police do?

BabyGwyneth · 07/05/2014 16:12

We weren't close, so I didn't generally tend to start conversations with her. Then she flew off the handle and called me an "f*cking bitch", so I started properly avoiding her. And then she rang the police. She's now refusing to pay her rent and hasn't come home for three days.

We're at a bit of a loss really...
