If zombies attack I'm going to get my husband to fly me and the DC to Norway with a full plane full of food. Then live here until the plague is over. Then once it is I can restart the world food supply.

He used to be in the air core and flown a plane under supervision, wouldn't trust him any other time to fly solo

I'm going to steal a canal boat - there are some about 15 mins from here. I've planned a circular rout which avoids the main road.

I dunno, the plan seems flawed. In an emergency OP's husband would have to do wrt to the plane-flying, qualified or not, but it's a long ol' way to Greenland. We'd all have to bungle on a plane before we became zombie chow and there's no guarantee there'd be enough fuel, and fuel stops aren't really an option. Hmm.

Cruise shop could work. With biomedical scientists and a few others to wield machetes, not with 6000 people hoping to see the wonders of the fjords - they'll only be infected.

DH and I now plan to 'steal' the ship he works on. Think of a small version of a cross channel ferry. Load it with fuel, food and fresh water and we could last for months just off the coast somewhere (or we could pick a climate).

There are a few spare cabins if anyone is practical and cares to join us. He's an engineer so he could fix the thing as well as drive it. I'm a theatre nurse and could do an appendicectomy if I had to. We come with 2 of the most irritating proto-humans in the world. One of them has an uncanny knack of spotting food designed by nauture and nurture to survive zombies

My 3yo has mad ninja skills. DP is great with electronics and I could crochet a mean fishing net. I also make delicious cake. I think we'd be valuable assets to any post-apocalyptic rag-tag survival group.

Over our back garden fence is a army training ground. In the event of an apocalypse we will scale late spikes iron railings trying not to get impaled. Once in there is an array of helicopters, guns, bombs etc. pretty sure there must be supplies and the such. It's miles of derelict buildings and woods etc so will probably stay there, from veg and rebuild the buildings over time. There is also tanks of we need to venture out.
