www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-29307840.html

I put this on another thread but thought it was so revolting it deserved its own thread.

How can anyone not be embarrassed to invite people in to photograph this, let alone think anyone will want to come and view it? Confused

Good grief.

AcrylicPlexiglass · 21/02/2014 21:27

Good Lord!

Flibbertyjibbet · 21/02/2014 21:28

I thought our house was messy after us all being at home for a week but omg.....

tallulah · 21/02/2014 21:29

Got to be a repossession.

KipperTheFish · 21/02/2014 21:29

Wow.

Maybe they did tidy up for the photos?

5madthings · 21/02/2014 21:29

Bloody hell!

Cthulu · 21/02/2014 21:30

Reckon there's a sad story behind that.

2beornot · 21/02/2014 21:31

"Property is available with no chain". Yes to repossession or death?

Cheesyslice · 21/02/2014 21:31

Holy fuck. Confused

Bearbehind · 21/02/2014 21:31

Jeez, I never thought of that kipper!

How do people live like that? Messy, fair enough but filthy, no.

Whats wrong with it? Confused Grin

Seriously though those pillows! Shock

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 21/02/2014 21:32

I have seen houses that look like that after an eviction of tenants.

Bearbehind · 21/02/2014 21:34

I might be being totally naive, but even if it was death or repossession, wouldn't someone try and tidy up a bit in order to achieve a sale.....

Disgusting Shock

Shock
ilovesooty · 21/02/2014 21:36

Perhaps the owner died and the people who've inherited it and are selling live abroad or something...

YoureBeingASillyBilly · 21/02/2014 21:38

Some people dont have anyone to tidy up after they die.

Reposessions are usually sold as they stand.

DarlingGrace · 21/02/2014 21:38

Forced sale .... if I were being kicked out - I'd not bother either .
Could be renters who refuse to co-operate.

Shockers · 21/02/2014 21:39

Do you think the people living there have made a complete mess on purpose because they knew the estate agent was coming to take photos and they don't want to lose their home Sad

bochead · 21/02/2014 21:39

Domestic violence victim that's too scared to return but that needs the money to fund new home in another part of the country?

Family that had to go into witness protection overnight?

Death?

I'm far from houseproud, but there has to be some sort of serious tragedy behind those images.

The bank would send in a house clearance company before putting it on the market, as they can afford to and it 's easier to sell an empty space fast.

HansieMom · 21/02/2014 21:40

To me it looks like a home that belonged to an old lady who departed, and the ne'er do well grandson moved in. I think it could be quite nice. Triple sink in kitchen. Living room looks good sized. But sad, very sad.

revealall · 21/02/2014 21:40

Bit odd - who lives like that but buys Ecover cleaner?

WhispersOfWickedness · 21/02/2014 21:40

DH wonders if it's students, that is a studenty area...

ThePinkOcelot · 21/02/2014 21:41

Wow!

nancy75 · 21/02/2014 21:41

I understand there are a load of reasons why it might be in that state, what i don't understand is why the estate agent took photos - normally with a house in that state they would just put pics of the outside and advise that it needed work
