I know. I just wouldn't be surprised, that's all. She sounds the apoplectic type.

Jux it used to be double bracket, then enter, then close brackets but that doesn't seem to work for me any more.

Jux · 15/02/2014 17:42

Blush x-post

PoorOldCat · 15/02/2014 17:42

Oh cool! Wonder why they changed it.

PoorOldCat · 15/02/2014 17:43

So how do you type four asterisks then?

MollyMakesMeWantToDance · 15/02/2014 17:44

Make sure you set a time limit on when they can knock i.e - not between the hours of 8pm and 8am.

No doubt you will get some wanker with an agenda thinking that a desperate need for his car at 1am is rather clever.

Oldraver · 15/02/2014 17:44

I also wondered if stroppy knickers bin lady would call the police. I would love to hear that conversation, about how she explains that she consistently, has parked on land where she's been told not to park and has had warning letters that she isnt allowed to park there

Yes they will laugh at her....

wowfudge · 15/02/2014 17:44

They've had plenty of warning and now MrsD is protecting her property. Bin lady and the other two are either bruising for a fight or thinking they will call the formidable MrsD's bluff....... Remote controls at dawn!

TalkinPeace · 15/02/2014 17:44

The Carusos have been squeaky clean on the legal side and correspondence etc .... the police will take their side

TalkinPeace · 15/02/2014 17:45

pooroldcat
I put them in italics, and then it stopped realising what they were
works too

Clutterbugsmum · 15/02/2014 17:46

I should think the worst that the police would do is ask OP to let Bin lady car out, which OP would do anyway.

I mean Bin lady going to have to explain even after 3 weeks notice make sure that her car was not parked on OP property after the 14/2/14, she ignored this.

No one's at fault other then the car owners who didn't make sure that their car were removed from OP property.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 15/02/2014 17:47

Only found this thread today and so glad I did.

tb · 15/02/2014 17:47

Mrsdavid could always ring the police and say that someone seems to have abandoned their car(s) on their land.......

That would be quite interesting when the car tower/crusher arrives....

pinkstinks · 15/02/2014 17:48

So many adverts for penguin bollards on every internet page.... From just one click!!

wowfudge · 15/02/2014 17:49

Ooooh - now tb, there's a thought! Grin

Lottiedoubtie · 15/02/2014 17:49

OP posts:
Pipbin · 15/02/2014 17:49

What I love most about this is that now bin lady has no option but to knock on op's door and ask for her car to be released.

Morgause · 15/02/2014 17:51

minesapackofminstrels · 15/02/2014 17:51

Morgause · 15/02/2014 17:52

OO, it works.

I can just imagine bin lady thinking, "Screw you, I'll park where I want!"

And then looking out of the window .......

SauvignonBlanche · 15/02/2014 17:52

Here's a link OP, but be warned, there's 3 of those threads!

ThePearShapedToad · 15/02/2014 17:57

Oh bravo op

Well done to you and your dh for standing your ground. Here's a Brew for you

SquinkiesRule · 15/02/2014 17:59
