Is anyone else wondering, if she genuinely needs her car for work, how she is explaining this situation to her boss!? 'Sorry I'm going to be late, why?, well I parked my car somewhere I shouldn't and now it's sort of stuck'

BlackeyedSusan · 17/02/2014 10:09

lucky posters who had nothing else to think about. i was woken by neighbour man shouting and swearing outside, was just tut-tutting to myself nd hoiking judgy pants when shortly afterward was more very loud shouting...from the living room. Blush

i have had to rescue dd from being locked in the play den by ds, and stop the shouting over who lost the key for the dvd cupboard nd ho s lying or not lying....

all is peaceful now ds has been fed.

what a relief that I can now check for binlady antics.

Ha well my 2 are at nursery today and no university for me this morning so I had plenty time to chill and check on bin lady lol.

wowfudge · 17/02/2014 10:16

Isee - I don't mind the OP toying with Bin Lady over getting her car out. Let's face it, Bin Lady has toyed with Mrsd over parking on her land. BL thought she could call the OP's bluff....and see where it got her. Arrogant, rude, shameless parking whore!

And I am at work, and should be working; gulp.

RubberBullets · 17/02/2014 10:16

Anyone on IOW who works with a woman who is late today?

wowfudge · 17/02/2014 10:18

If you do, tell us who she is!

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 17/02/2014 10:23

I think now is a good time to mark my place for the next instalment.

LeggyBlondeNE · 17/02/2014 10:26

De-lurking to congratulate MrsDavid on hopefully having the last laugh in this sorry tale (where 'sorry'=really fun for the casual MN observer!).

Are you going to write this all up with pictures and make a small fortune like that 'Parenting with Cr*ppy Pictures' book? I'd buy it for my DH!

You might as well make back the cost of the bollards, right?

Wink
PoorOldCat · 17/02/2014 10:36

The thing is though, presumably bin lady is still paying for the 'right' to park there, which does make me feel sorry for her as her landlord is a twat.

Mrsdavidcaruso · 17/02/2014 10:36

Sorry got to post and run bin lady left at 8.30 sans car we had a call form the letting agency she has been on the phone to them all morning.

They have told her that due to the fact that her (and the others) rents were reduced from 1st Feb due to there being no off road parking, she should not have had her car there anyway as all tenants were told to remove their cars before 15th Feb so is in breach of her tenancy agreement by still parking there this morning.

That saying he has asked that she is able to move her car after 5.30 today - thats fine BIL has just picked up his van and DH now work from home. DH has forbidden me to speak to her as my Blood pressure is already sky high

MrsDC, sounds as though you need a nice quiet day with your feet up on the sofa...

I'm very glad that she's been told by the agency that she should have moved her car.

shoom · 17/02/2014 10:39

Very interesting news from the letting agency!

Please inform them of any abuse or other issues from BL and shouty man.

ISeeYouShiverWithAntici · 17/02/2014 10:42

So the rent has at least been reduced. That's good for the tenants.

Why was she calling the letting agency? What did she expect the letting agency to do?

It isn't their land, it isn't the landlord's land.

Does she actually not understand that it is not land that she has a right to use?

does she think that somehow she can make someone force you to let her continue to park there?

I think she's just got so angry about it all for some reason that she is unable to see sense at this point.

You'd think she'd be pleased that her rent was reduced.

HugAndRoll · 17/02/2014 10:43

I'm glad the LA told BL she's in the wrong. Maybe her attitude will change not holding my breath

WeAreDetective · 17/02/2014 10:44

She is in serious denial!!!

prettybird · 17/02/2014 10:44

Wonder if her taxi fare was more than wiped out the saving she's incurred through the lower rent GrinHmm?

BlackeyedSusan · 17/02/2014 10:45

so her rent has been reduced and she is still kicking off. i don't understand her logic...

littlepurplealien · 17/02/2014 10:47

Thanks for the update.

Fairenuff · 17/02/2014 10:49

She knew that once she moved her car she wouldn't be able to put it back there. She just left it over the weekend because it was convenient for her.

Entitled arse.

RudolphtheRedknowsraindear · 17/02/2014 10:49

Her rent has been reduced for over 2 weeks!!!!!!! Why we're either tenants parking there over the weekend? Beggars belief! Have a Brew and some Thanks OP, you really need to take a break from this. Sit and dream of the lovely garden party you'll have in summer Wine

RudolphtheRedknowsraindear · 17/02/2014 10:50
