Thankyou, I never knew this and Ive been on mums net for years! Its brilliant!

Pipbin · 15/02/2014 14:52

I didn't know that until today. I felt like such an idiot.

GingerMaman · 15/02/2014 14:57

Wow I didn't know that! Does it work on the apps too?

Joysmum · 15/02/2014 15:56

I didn't know that either. I much prefer just reading carefully what the OP says and skim reading (at most) what everyone else says.

Thank you Wine Cake Thanks

QueenofKelsingra · 15/02/2014 16:19

ginger I don't know about apps as I only use MN on laptop.

Glad I'm not the only daft one and have been of some help!

Joysmum · 15/02/2014 16:20

Just wish there was a way of clicking on a thread so it remembers the last post you saw and takes you to the next new one without the need to scroll.

MothershipG · 15/02/2014 16:28

Joysmum There is! It's the bookmark button, hover your cursor over a post and it magically appears in the bottom left corner.

eleflump · 15/02/2014 16:31

I only found this the other day too (well, I read it in someone else's post to be honest!) - but you can also change the amount of posts that you see at one time when you click on the thread!

So for years I have been seeing 25 posts per page and having to click to view them all in one thread, and now it just does it by itself!

A thread that I can see all at once with coloured in posts by the OP - it's been an epiphany!!!

QueenofKelsingra · 15/02/2014 16:44

gold star for mothership thank you! :)

ele yes that's another thing I've just discovered!

OP posts:
MothershipG · 15/02/2014 16:46

A gold star? For me? I'm so proud. Wink

Lovethebubbles · 15/02/2014 17:00

Wow! Thanks OP, officially love you! Wonder if it works on the app too...

QueenofKelsingra · 15/02/2014 17:25

glad to have been of service! Grin

no more thinking 'over 100 posts I cant be arsed to find the OPs so wont bother reading it' for me!

This is marvellous! Thank you OP. The bookmarking thing doesn't seem to work on a sanitaryiPad though, sadly.

anothernumberone · 15/02/2014 17:36

What was that Queen oh look you are in purple I can find out instantly:-).

mrsjay · 15/02/2014 17:36

I just realised my own waffilings are in grey what a rubbish colour ,

WaitMonkey · 15/02/2014 18:10

You can't do it in the app though. If I'm wrong, please someone enlighten me.

Writerwannabe83 · 15/02/2014 19:01

I only found out last week that I could highlight my own and OP's posts and I'm still amazed by it! Grin

Kasterborous · 15/02/2014 19:04

It's great isn't it, as is the bookmark function. I had to ask how to do it and how to do emoticons Blush

Writerwannabe83 · 15/02/2014 19:05
