how do you do bold i cant find the star key on the keyboard

On my iphone at the top of each thread where it says talk>AIBU there's a circle with a v shape in just under it, I click that and it comes up with watch this thread etc and in the list it had customise there, gives option to bookmark on there. Then once it's selected when finished reading thread just click the dots in left hand bottom corner in the last post and click bookmark.

I'm not on mumsnetnew whatever that is and I can use bookmark option. I don't use app just log in through google.

PP who replied about the highlighting, I found that if clicked the italic looking I by the smilies that I can choose bold in there and just type name in bold. I'll try in Asterix next time to see if works for me too :)

Bellsupmynose how do you that strike through thing you just worked out? Been wondering about that as well

If I go to customise on desktop, I just get 'talk options' and 'ignore topic in active conversations' - and no other options for colour or anything else. Am I missing a button or a dropdown somewhere?
