Mainly because they don't have loads of big chewy ones and they have the coffee ones back!

The coffee ones are delicious! I remember the pick n mix from Woolies used to have the most coffee of all the coffee chocs!

See, I don't like coffee chocolates (though I do like actual coffee) but I completely agree about the better ratio of chewy ones. QS's tactic of thinking up 7 different names for a toffee is poor. Roses are superior.

And nestle chocolate isn't half as good as Cadbury chocolate either!!!

I had a rant the other day because of the manky coffee ones. Every chocolate in the tin tasted overwhelmingly of coffee :(
The Brazilian darkness used to be lovely and hard, and are now mushy and taste pre-chewed.
I much prefer quality street and the chewy toffees.

You are absolutely not being unreasonable. I think the cost-cutting techniques have gone too far with Quality Street & Roses win hands down.

No purple one in roses though.

Still too much fudge though. If I wanted to eat fudge, I would buy better quality actual fudge. I don't want boring fudge in my chocolates, thank you!

I prefer roses strawberry ones and fudges but I love the blue quality streets. Do agree about the brazillian darkness though

yes I kept avoiding green as I thought they were coconut...and woohoo they are coffee. And lovely orange and strawberry and caramel ones - I love the soft ones

Shenanigans roses do have a big purple one similar to the qs one.

They always were better! Cadburys chocolate all the way! Although the tins are far too small now.

Yuk to both! Waitrose & M&S own brand of chocolates much nicer.

Roses have always been better. Quality Street chocolate always tasted more synthetic to me.

Yanbu- and though I cannot get on board with all the pro coffee people, I have to agree roses are much nicer, Qs are no longer edible, grainy creams and sickly chocolate, but neither are what they were are they ?

Nothing beats quality street. Love toffee and especially the fudge ones yum

We got a box of quality street. I like them all but why 2 different types of toffee! I wish we had got roses.

noooo waitrose selection box is much nicer.. they have coffee and strawberry and very few toffee and nut ones

but i used to love roses... theve both changed for the worse.

Yuck! Roses AND qs are both cheap and nasty now. Treat yourself to a big bar of galaxy (the new one with the nuts is to die for) or dairy milk and have it with a cup of coffee. That way you get a decent coffee taste and no nasty cheap sweets!
