To ask what you spend at the supermarket on average each week

I'm just wondering what everyone else's costs roughly are, for how many people and whether this includes lunches?

About £60 per week , 2 adults and a 4 year old . Usually includes lunches for DP , includes 3 packed lunches for DD

£50 for a weeks shop for 2 adults and 3 yo.

I spend in the region of £40-£60. Two adults, 1 baby (although in cloth nappies and she eats what we do so doesn't cost much!). Lunches included, though we usually eat at one of our parents once a week, and maybe get a takeaway at the weekend, so only tend to buy 5 dinners in the weekly shop.

I'm ashamed to say but probably about £70.

3 of us (me and 2 children). Includes lunches for me but not children.

I don't budget and buy massive amounts of soft fruit/berries, branded wraps, mini chicken fillets, tuna steak and frozen yogurt instead of apples, bread, mince and value ice cream.

Obsession with fat and sugar far outweighs any concern about money.

I do feel guilty though. I'm also pregnant and bills will probably go up to nearly £90 a week after that!

Including top ups £60 for 2 adults, 8 yr old (inc packed lunches) and 1.5 year old. Dh eats lunch out 3 days a week, I take lunch to work. Includes toiletries, cleaning stuff and the odd bottle of wine.

£150-£200ish per week for 4 children and 2 adults, including lunches, I overstock though and can sometimes manage without getting shopping in for a week or 2 if I'm particularly skint.

Usually between 50 and 60 for 2 adults and two young children (3 and 4 yrs), no pets. Amount differs depending on whether we need nappies, toilet roll, dishwasher tablets etc that week.

That includes all packed lunches for us all, no alcohol because we don't drink.

Around £60 pw for two adults and DS8. Includes lunches for me and DS. Once every six weeks or two months I do all the cleaning products, bin bags etc which means that week's is around £120. We also get a veg box.

Food costs a bloody fortune round here (two supermarkets and that's your lot in a small town) I really miss city life when it comes to food shopping, we've no Aldis or anything like that.

About £80 for 2 adults, 3 children including lunch for everyone except dh.

about 70 but includes all toiletries and clothes (bless you Asda) and usually presents and cards lol.

all my money goes to Asda. all of it. I even have an Asda creditcard now so I can get cashback :/

about £60 for Me,DH and a hollow legged DS.

About £80 a week for pretty much everything. 2 adults.

About £85 in Asda for me, dh and 3 dc (almost14, almost12, 10).

Doesn't include toiletries or clothes, does include household stiff like kitchen/loo roll, Cillit Bang etc.

£60 ish for 2 adults and a baby, although she is in cloth nappies half the time and breastfed so doesn't cost much.

No alcohol, but lots of jars, we don't cook from scratch, and most meals include tinned spaghetti!

DH takes lunch if he can but we are rubbish at meal planning and using food so a lot is wasted and the bread is very often mouldy. Fortunately he considers a mince pie and packet of crisps to be an acceptable lunch.

It's really what you can afford though-isn't that what defines what everyone spend?.
There's 5 of us and 2 cats. I have done it on £50 using value food and next to no meat no choices for breakfast(just toast), certainly nothing like wine or chocolate.
I usually do it, including lunches for 3-4 (sometimes they want school dinners sometimes not) including wine, cat food, cleaning stuff, toiletries etc for £120-£130.
Some people will be shocked and appalled. by that, but I know several families of 4 spending upwards of £200 -they regularly shop at M&S, use organic stuff and like nice wine. I feel quite frugal with my Asda shop! They can afford it though.
What can you afford to spend/would like to spend, what supermarkets are near you and what do you have to have in your trolley? Tell us that and then people can advise you.

Probably about £100 for 2 adults and 16 yo son.

Just short of £100. All meals for 2 adults and 2.7yo. Nappies for the 2.7yo and a 3mo.

£50-55 in Aldi for 2 adults and toddler DD. That includes nappies, wipes and all household/cleaning stuff.

Actually DS has 3 meals at nursery one day a week, but the rest of the meals are included.

I really struggle to keep it under £100 a week. That's shopping in aldi and meal planning as well. I don't know how you all do it.

I think its about £100, 3 adults, 2 teens, and 3 animals but it all depends on what I need to buy that week and where I've gone shopping.

£100-£130 per week for 2 adults, 1 toddler and 1 baby and 1 dog. For everything including cost of nappies/wine/beer etc ...DH doesn't take packed lunches but we eat all meals at home 99% of the time.

At the moment about £60-70 per week, family of 4 including nappies, toiletries, cleaning stuff and lunches for all of us.

£35. Not through choice. Two adults, two kids (one teen, one five year old).
