I think that many of us have been able to give up smoking thanks to e-cigs & vaping & are all feeling the positive results & want to spread the message.

The longer you hold the vapour in before blowing it out, the less there is of it. I am deeply ashamed of the following but hey ho: dd was singing at a concert in church a few weeks ago. I vaped , only twice. By holding it in my lungs for longer than normal, nothing came out at all when I exhaled. FWIW, when it came to the interval, I vaped outside along with the smokers.

Ooh stealth vaping I didn't do that on a train the other day at all.

I have discovered the joy of stealth vaping.

At work, all the poor mugs smoking fags have to go outside in the cold and rain. I nip to the toilet...much nicer

I vape on the train, and don't really try to hid it. Last time, no one batted an eye except for a little girl of about 7 who kept walking past me giving me filthy looks. I made it absolutely clear that I wasn't smoking, made sure she could see the ego and everything. She hated me.

Steeping just means try not to vape them for a few days

They are mixed fresh to order and it takes a little while for the flavours to meld.

Hello, this is the first time I've posted on a vaping thread, I just wanted to say thanks to the first thread I finally stopped smoking after numerous attempts to stop. So massive thanks to all of you sharing knowledge and experience, you've changed my life.

Been about 2 months now I think, I'm going through the constant snotty-nosed detox from fags that I had when pregnant so I know my health is already improving.

And I'm not even vaping that much, still on my first clearomiser and halfway through the 10ml bottle of 18mg nicotine that came with my starter kit - which was a Liberty Flights one only because there was a special offer in October. I have even come to quite like the "tobacco" flavour that initially tasted like Lucky Strikes that had been lying around in an open packet for 2 years.

I've been encouraged to try vaping as I want to give up but have had no success via other routes (which has included stop-smoking services, hypnotherapy and NRT). I had used evils a few years ago and got on well with them... Until I realised they didn't contain nicotine, which basically stopped the placebo effect working!

Bought a CloudStix CE6 today along with 2 vials of liquid - strawberry and Turkish Delight (both Cloud Stix brand). Trouble is I'm not getting much joy out of them. I like the taste and the smell, and just two puffs is satisfying my cravings. Problem is I'm finding the kick too strong. I inhale, hold it in my throat/lungs, then cough and splutter like a mad woman and snort it all out of my nose, and find it really causes a burning sensation in my nose. I think they could work for me but this isn't exactly smooth! Any suggestions. I wonder if my nicotine levels are too strong - based on the fact I smoke 15 ciggies a day the chap recommended 18mg.

ThisIs you could try 12mg to see how you get on. Also you might want to try liquid with higher VG. You don't have to inhale if it's not nice, most of the nic is absorbed through the mouth and nose. Also it can take a few days to get used to it, I think I coughed a lot at first.

So glad to see a thread on here about these. I've been off the fags and on the vaps since second week of October. They're brilliant!. I use a local bloke who charges £3 per bottle and they're wonderful. If anyone wants his website let me know. Or if anyone knows of anyone cheaper let me know!

Thisismynamechange. I was smoking 40-50 a day and use 18mg; my brother smoked the same, and uses 24mg. I do think that trying a lower nic will help, but it may not satisfy the cravings so quickly.

OTOH, maybe you're inhaling too fast; have you tried a gentler inhalation? Not necessarily longer though.

Plenty, I have just ordered from Joose Juice on their 10ml for 1.49. I got gingerbread, maple syrup, and pecan. Also some flavour concentrate (apple, of course!) to see if I can add it to the various apples I already have and make them stronger.

I'm not expecting anything arrive before Xmas.

Hi all, can anyone advise? Ive had 2 CE4 batteries, both broken. What can I get thats similar, a good price (cant afford anything expensive just now), & less prone to breaking? umm...10ml for £1-49 at Joose Juice? Im missing out! & Wittsend13 please put up the website.

Recap..Id switched to e-cigs & was paying £10 each for cartridges that didnt last long at all. Saw the original vaping thread and read all the info about vaping, e-juice etc, and decided to switch. Best thing I did. Much cheaper and far more satisfying than e-cigs. I do smoke 24mg as went down to 18mg altering with 11mg to see which one of those I could cope with, then found I could cope with neither. I need a stronger hit, although Im hoping to phase back into 18mg next year .

goodasitgets yes, that looks like an ego battery on the tornado tank tutorial on the totally wicked site, so you can use just about any sort of atomiser on that, including the CE4.

The one on your link though is really bad value. For that price you could get ...

• 5 x gs-h2

• an evod and an iclear16 and have a couple of quid left towards replacement coil heads (for the evod, for the iclear16)

• for 50p more, a myepack.co.uk/clearomizers/kanger-mini-protank.html

Any of the above should work much better than a CE4.

If you really really want CE4s, these are good ones.

MistressDeeCee, is it the batteries or the clearomisers that have stopped working?

If it's just the clearomisers, I would recommend the gs-h2 for price and sturdiness.

If you need a whole new kit, this is good value or this but you'll need an extra battery (or just buy two kits).
