Can't believe all the negative press and comments on here about poor Ruby on GBBO.
It's as if people just cannot stand the fact she can bake and she's pretty. And she's not even smiley and apologetic for it! Cheeky mare

I agree that this thread reeks of jealousy.

I've said it on another thread, but I think it sticks out that two very beautiful women in this series are the ones who are getting savaged online, and people claim that that it's because they are too confident or not confident enough. What do women have to do to prove themselves acceptable?

Also: remind me never to make another facial expression again. Or show my feelings. Because then I deserve to be loathed.

I can't believe someone said Ruby should "eat a sandwich and do something about her hair". Horrible thing to say.

I thought it was about cooking not looks?

I actually think all 3 finalists are very attractive. Kimberley is funny and intelligent, is just breathtaking and yes, very confident which I think has been edited to make her look smug. Frances is also very funny, fab Eastenders impersonation last week.
I don't care what they look like, their personality doesn't really matter, it is down to their baking.

This thread does of reek of jealousy. People are put out at the favouritism that's being shown and the attitude of one of the contestants.

Please do not judge others by your shallowness. I would not be jealous of someone because of their looks and I am sure lots of other mumsnetters wouldn't either.

Remember not everyone finds the same things attractive either in a person, looks and personality wise.

Insummer-oh I don't know, we were all pretty vocal on the other thread and if I was jealous I wouldn't be afraid to admit it, but I'm not and I doubt others are either.

Anyway, the final is on!!

I wouldnt mind her winning. To be honest i dont cate which one of them wins. I do feel for her, at 21 i would not have wanted the intense scrutiny she has come under.

I also got the feeling last week that PH makes her uncomfortable, she doesnt know where to look when he praises her and tries to flirt.
