To be in denial about the weather

I went to the neighbours this morning to see her one week old. I put on shorts and a vest top as all jeans are in the wash.

Neighbour had jumper, thick leggings and boots on. I dont want to have to fish my winter clothes out yet Sad

Anyone else trying to drag the summer out?

but its the end of September

ilovepowerhoop · 15/09/2013 13:34

you would have needed your thermals and waterproofs here today, not nice at all today

littlewhitebag · 15/09/2013 13:34

Shorts and a vest top? You will get hypothermia.

It is cold, wet and windy here, I don't think you would be wearing shorts if you lived in Scotland.

TheProsAndConsOfHitchhiking · 15/09/2013 13:37

I went to the shop yesterday in a short skirt, sandles and vest top. I looked like a right pillock when everyone else was wearing jeans boots and coats, I was shivering down the milk isle Grin.

I am a little more appropriately dressed today!

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 15/09/2013 13:37

I only went round to the neighbours. Been in the house since.

I just don't want to get the winter stuff out.

Its not the end of Sept. Its only just started Grin

It's not the end of September ! It's the middle!

samithesausage · 15/09/2013 13:38

I'm wearing my cropped jeans and a t-shirt. I'm eyeing up my thick jumper and jeggins though!

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 15/09/2013 13:40

I'm not wearing short shorts. Remember pedal pushers? To the knees? Those Grin

we have rain and gale force winds and I have just put a cardi on and am going to iron to see if it warms me up (I hate ironing! )

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 15/09/2013 13:42

No rain here unless its spitting. A light chilly breeze but that's it. It does look grey though.

Yes, sorry, I think you're in denial. It turned really quickly though, didn't it?

I love getting me big woolly socks, boots and jumpers out again, maybe I'm weird but I like wrapping up and getting snuggly by the fire.

NoelHeadbands · 15/09/2013 13:45

Tipping down in Halifax- must be heading your way ...

Sirzy · 15/09/2013 13:46

I have dug out my hoody today, and DS is back in vests.

McNewPants2013 · 15/09/2013 13:46

I am debating putting the heating on, never mind going out in summer clothes.

Rollermum · 15/09/2013 13:47

I am over the moon! I don't like Summer weather at best of tomes, but this year's heat wave combined with being heavily pregnant means the change had given me much joy. Now if only I could fit into any appropriate shoes or clothes...

I Love Autumn!

NoelHeadbands · 15/09/2013 13:48

My heating is whacked up to the MAX

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 15/09/2013 13:49

I love summer!

I bought the toddler his wellies the other week and I had to buy an umbrella, I wasn't pleased

I'm still thinking of going camping!

MagzFarqharson · 15/09/2013 13:54

Camping Mynew ? Which country are you in?

LividofLondon · 15/09/2013 13:54

I bought a new winter coat the other day and, for once, I'm looking forward to the weather getting colder (so I can wear it) Blush

SPsTotallyMullerFuckingLicious · 15/09/2013 13:59

I have my mac out but not my proper winter coat. I actually don't know where it is
