To be in denial about the weather

I went to the neighbours this morning to see her one week old. I put on shorts and a vest top as all jeans are in the wash.

Neighbour had jumper, thick leggings and boots on. I dont want to have to fish my winter clothes out yet Sad

Anyone else trying to drag the summer out?

We've had our summer, though I did read about the possibility of an Indian Summer?. Is there any hope of it?.
I've bought a new winter coat, wore it today for the first time and was all snuggly and warm.
Blankets are in place over duvets and I've bought my -vile- beloved 'snuggy' down from storage. Had the heating on yesterday, don't tell DH though or he'd call me nesh, he's still wandering around in shorts and t-shirts -and I will refrain from laughing when he catches his death-
So, yes you ABU, Autumn has arrived with vengeance.

I am thinking about going to the sales or the end of season rails for some holiday clothes we might be goin g abroad at easter so maybe that will cheer me up,

I wore my fit flops and a light trouser in the week until my feet turned blue. Today I had my boots and fleece lined mac on and still felt the nip.

It is not hot any more. Not even warm here today with sideways rain. However, it is not cold either. No need for jumpers, coats, gloves and scarves! Madness. Save yourselves for January, please!

at 36weeks pregnant I am desperately clinging onto summer. mainly due to the fact that the only clothes that actually still fit me are summer/maxi dresses Sad

my maternity jeans are no longer sutible! Blush

I am fucking frozen! Took the toddler to nursery to early as read time wrong.

I've got dresses and leggings in wash now.

My UGG's are out for good now too.

Sock draw has been opened and coat fished out.

I had to put socks and boots on today and I am currently lying in bed with a jumper on. I think the flip flop wearing at the weekend did me in finally, I am bloody freezing today!

Bloody freezing here. Howling gales and driving rain. Lit the stove two nights in a row, plus had the heating on for 2 hours this morning :(

Apparently we're going through a bad patch and it's going to warm up again soon - not an Indian summer but back to average temperatures for this time of year.
