Do we know whether Hunfriend was also asked to decorate the venue, or just uninvited after a STD card ? Or is finding out part of Tidy's mission ?

Who is going to decorate the hall - gluesister?

I have been chuckling away to this thread series for days. The other night there was a shit programme on (well it is Canada - hurrumph) and in it someone was getting married and they said the rhyme 'something old something new, something borrowed something ...' and i shouted GLUE at which point i laughed like a drain and DH seriously considered leaving me.

Another random thought which popped into my head was Tidy now needs to start every conversation with Gluezilla with the salutation 'UHU'.

I'm very sad i know. Oh and Horry i was disappointed that in your catch up you failed to mention that i picked up Zammos ice cream once in Croydon. Tsk tsk - jealousy is not becoming on anyone you know. ;)

Looking forward to Hunfriend to possibly elaborate on more crazy requests from GZ, and so glad I found out how to book mark. I had already colour coded mine and OPs posts but didn't realise how to bookmark too.

I love this post A) because it is a purely a fab post and it's post like this which make you realise that the term bridezilla really does mean something. out there. And more importantly B) I've learnt how to bookmark on mn.

With 'Epic' threads like this, don't you ever wish that the 'baddie', in this case glueface (or whatever we're calling her), would:

1. find out about the thread on MN;
2. read the many, many comments from lots of independent and unconnected and even at times, reasonable, people;
3. then realise just how unacceptable their behaviour has been, particularly their 'put out' attitude following a polite decline;
4. add to the thread to say that they have come to their senses and are sorry?

Wouldn't that be nice?

Porto. Tidy's drink this evening is not with Gluezilla, it's with another dis-invited friend (HunFriend) who Gluezilla has also managed to upset/offend. What we're waiting to find out from Tidy is, what on earth has GZ done to upset the other friend.

Given GZ's previous form, it's got to be something fairly awful
