To think my husband is an arse

Today is my birthday. No card, no happy birthday, no lie in. NOTHING. He however has stayed in bed while I got up with the kids and did everything as usual. AIBU to ignore him all day? The kids said happy birthday as soon as they got up. Least some people in my house care Hmm

Happy birthday! I'm guessing he knows birthdays are important to you? In which case, he's being an arse but you don't need to let it spoil your day. If you stay at home waiting for him to step up, you might end up wasting your whole day.

Instead, arrange a nice day with your dcs and go out without him.

He got up at ten (after sleeping the majority of the DAY yesterday)
He's not the grand gestures type, I'm not expecting the world, just a happy birthday surely that's not too much to ask!
Not stuck in all day as my mum and step dad have brought us all out for lunch ( that being the reason he got up)
Gonna just ignore him till he asks. It's not like he's actually made any attempt to speak to me anyway!
His birthday next week. What's good for the goose is good for the gander!!!!!!

I'm grasping at straws here, if he slept all day yesterday as well, is there any chance that he isn't well?
OP, if he hasn't pulled a really impressive surprise out of the bag by tonight, then arrange an overnighter and day out with friends on HIS birthday. Wink
