Today is my birthday. No card, no happy birthday, no lie in. NOTHING. He however has stayed in bed while I got up with the kids and did everything as usual. AIBU to ignore him all day? The kids said happy birthday as soon as they got up. Least some people in my house care Hmm

Neither of you mention birthdays in preceding weeks? Not having a go, genuinely curious?

TimeofChange · 21/07/2013 18:06

Happy Birthday and best wishes to you.

MammaTJ · 21/07/2013 18:20

Happy Birthday!

Did your parents mention your birthday/make a fuss/give you at least a card?

Did he look shame faced while they did this?

mrsslc · 21/07/2013 19:12

Yes, lots of discussion about birthdays in recent days and weeks as mine, his and my nieces are all in the same week.
It's not that he forgot. He brought home the gift from his mum to me yesterday. He went out to buy tea last night. Plenty opportunity to pick up a card.
My mum and step dad sang happy birthday when we met up today ( big kids lol)
I have had quite a nice day really, just a shame he couldn't just say those two little words!
It's not long been fathers day, he had a card, as usual a lie in, and breakfast.
He won't be getting that for his birthday that's for sure!
I will save the questions as to why he's behaved like an absolute tosser for tomorrow, aside from not getting up with the kids, he's not that bad usually, so no doubt this will all be my fault somehow!

He didn't even wish you a Happy Birthday !

If you complain he blames you ?
Why are you with someone who cares so little for you ?
Im so sorry

Happy Birthday Flowers

Dackyduddles · 21/07/2013 19:23

He's an arse then. I'm sorry.

Happy birthday beautiful!

Ginderella · 21/07/2013 19:34

Happy Birthday Thanks

He is a selfish twat. Why do you stay with him? He gets a housemaid and nanny and you don't even get a "Happy Birthday"? What do you get out of the relationship? If you left him you wouldn't miss him!

TotallyEggFlipped · 21/07/2013 19:39

Happy Birthday.
I'm glad the rest of your family celebrated it with you.

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 21/07/2013 19:49

i am always surprise what women put up with on mn. where is the cherishing or love here ? you are his skivvy at worst - flat mate at best

This, really. I always wonder why people tolerate what they do, like it's acceptable behaviour. Why are you with him? He sounds like an uncaring idiot.

I hope you are going to ignore his birthday.
