Hi gals!
Right I need to go shopping for a sexy (halter neck) swimsuit and was wondering if you have any suggestions please? 'Short' style bum options? Or just very low leg?
I need it to cover my bikini line please. I don't want to have to wax or shave down there all the time. It's for taking kids to the pool and I want to be able to just grab and go!
Thanks laydeez.

Looked at the one boosterseat reccomended and this one came up at the bottom of the screen. It's gorgeous and if I wasn't 6 months preg and the size of a planet I would be buying it in a heartbeat!

If you want something streamline, this is good. It's not sexy but it gives a very nice body shape around the bust, tum and bum. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ladies-Slazenger-Long-boy-Leg-shorts-Swimsuit-Swimming-Costume-BNWT-RRP-24-99-/171063673096?pt=UK_Women_s_Swimwear&var=&hash=item27d4308108

Eliza22 · 29/06/2013 19:30

Have ordered the green one for isme.co.uk only because my sister had a £15 discount code! Hope it fits.

Hope I don't look like mutton.... Will report back! Grin

SnoopyLovesYou · 29/06/2013 20:11

Bloody hell, if having a topic in the wrong area is causing genuine "upset", well those MNers know what they need to get!
I've no cossie suggestions OP but hope you find something you love Smile

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 29/06/2013 20:44

I got a swimdress last year that I love. It doesnt fit quite right thouh, as I'm tall and the body isnt really long enough, so the back comes down lower than it should, iyswim?

So warning for that if you are tall too, try on a couple...

Doobiedoobedoobie · 29/06/2013 21:03

here!

They are amazing and so flattering. And great customer service :)

SnoopyLovesYou · 29/06/2013 21:04

Oh thanks :-)

I have my eye on an expensive one now. Over £70. I mean, I'll def get wear out of it but still...

You're right. Need to find time to go into a shop. Could really do with some suggestions for shops where I can try some on please?

Anybody seen boyleg swimsuits about?

To hide my bikini line I would need one of these

SnoopyLovesYou · 29/06/2013 21:24

Doobie thanks :-)

Lollipop thanks for making me laugh out loud

SnoopyLovesYou · 29/06/2013 21:25

That's the thing. I think the original one would hide mine better...

www.swimshop.co.uk/duro-plus-legsuit I like my swim suit with short legs, its bit like this one ( but from a few years ago).

bedhaven · 30/06/2013 04:22

I've had one of these Esther Williams suits www.forluna.co.uk/?gclid=CP2g5P3oirgCFbMftAod8n8AHg which has lasted for years, very flattering on anyone and covers my bikini line

KateCroydon · 30/06/2013 05:56

Another vote for Esther Williams. Gorgeous and you can actually swim in them.

QueenofLouisiana · 30/06/2013 08:17

I like these SamanthaSage
Unusual, comfy, good coverage. I even have a bikini version and feel less frumpy when hanging out on beaches!

PoopPoooDeDooo · 30/06/2013 09:02

I have been thinking the same! A tankini with shorts would do me, however I can't find any in Maternity ranges...

You would think that the people designing maternity swimwear would take into account that being pregnant pretty much means you can't even SEE your bikini line never mind de-fuzz it!

diddl · 30/06/2013 11:33

Is it just me wondering what sort of "bikini line" needs shorts??

Surely an ordinary swimsuit is sufficient?

ShaggingZumbaStylee · 30/06/2013 11:41

No diddl not for everyone

SnoopyLovesYou · 30/06/2013 12:00

I don't need shorts. The famous green one above that BoosterSeat has would have been perfect alas it's sold out! That leg line was exactly right for my bikini line. All the different colours and styles appear to have sold out too!

SnoopyLovesYou · 30/06/2013 12:03

Think the best thing is if I go and get waxed and buy an Esther Williams

:-D

MrsLettuce · 30/06/2013 12:05

The Esther Williams suits here really would be spot on. They also have a few by GirlHowdy but they would be too short in the body. Plenty of reviews on the EW suits here but you'll not find them in the shops I'm afraid.

Seafolly do some vaguely similar suits that you might find IRL, but they're much more expensive.

MrsLettuce · 30/06/2013 12:06

Oh, and the Pinup Couture suits as linked above are shorter in the body than the EW ones.
