I don't like wearing bras. when I get home ( back from school run etc) I always take them off.
especially when I was pg (every time) I had to take them off quickly at odd locations, when I felt sick - although normally in the car,

but I either can't take my t-shirt or top off coz II was/am in public or just can't be bothered.

so I do it the "Flasdance" way ever since I saw the film. it's quicker.

is it just me or others do this too?

I have to say that after a bra thread I posted my measurements and it was amazing the difference it made, I was not entirely convinced to be told I was a 38 H Shock instead of a 40 DD but lo and behold went out and bought a real cheapy pack of two with matching pants in ASDA to try and what a difference, it really was the first bra that I wasn't dying to rip off when I got home! in fact it was so comfy I forgot I was wearing it. It looks better too.
Oh I am a back hooker and definately a flashdance remover. Smile

Don't know flashdance but from another comment I'm assuming it's the pull it out through the sleeve thing and I do that. I hate wearing bras. though it's impossible to do with my crop top bras, which come off over my head once my arms are out!

StatisticallyChallenged · 25/06/2013 17:42

Any Bravissimo store snoopy - www.bravissimo.com

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 25/06/2013 17:43

Bravissimo have a chain of shops, but they are fairly few and far between, the one I went to is in Solihull. They are aimed at the larger end of the market (E cup plus I think).

RubberBullets · 25/06/2013 17:48

Bravissimo have far too few and far between, my nearest is a few hundred miles away :( They do D cup and above as most women seem to be those sizes when fitted properly and the high street doesn't want to cater for them

SorrelForbes · 25/06/2013 17:50

Stolen from someone else's blog:

"Did you know that if shops and (some) fitters stopped using the outdated +4 method of measuring, the most commonly sold bra size would be somewhere around 32F-G, instead of 36DD?"

StatisticallyChallenged · 25/06/2013 18:35

Funny Sorrel, isn't that about what we said seemed to be average from the bra threads too?

SorrelForbes · 25/06/2013 19:01

Yes, all my friends and relatives 'intervened' so far have discovered they are in the 28E - 34G bracket.

peppersaunt · 25/06/2013 19:40

Taught to do this by college boyfriend on camping trip! Should've twigged I was not his only girlfriend...

plainjaney · 25/06/2013 20:29

StatisticallyChallenged I'll let you know what I measure at when I get around to doing it (having a horrible week thus far and not had chance).
Grin

Hanginggardenofboobylon · 25/06/2013 20:46

I love how any remotely bra related thread turns into an intervention! These ladies know their stuff, 36D to 30GG here!

TentUpFirstBunkUpLater · 25/06/2013 21:56

I don't understand why anyone wants to take their bra off if needing to be upright (sitting or standing)

My breasts weigh a ton or so it seems and I am way more comfortable with the scaffolding on. I am a 34F or 34FF Bravissimo fitting depending on the bra and hate the feel of the 'droop'

TentUpFirstBunkUpLater · 25/06/2013 22:01

And I totally agree with StatisticallyChallenged Grin

I first got fitted at Bravissimo in 2004 and it has completely made a difference to my posture

My boobs are totally sheepdog and I love it

RubberBullets · 26/06/2013 08:21

Tent I guess that no bra is more comfortable than badly fitting bra.

AnyFucker · 26/06/2013 08:23

What are sheepdog boobs ? Smile

sparkle12mar08 · 26/06/2013 08:30

I love the way we hijack any remotely breast connected thread, no matter how tenuous, and turn it into an intervention one Grin We're shameless!

StatisticallyChallenged · 26/06/2013 08:32

Utterly shameless sparkle!

CelticPromise · 26/06/2013 08:35

Ha I knew as soon as I saw the title that I would find the bra nerds gurus here. No rest til the whole of MN is intervened!

MadBusLady · 26/06/2013 08:35

Yes, but I don't pull it out the sleeve. For a bit of extra trouble but more drama you unhook both arms and then pull it out the front of your top.

Shock < DP's face.

MadBusLady · 26/06/2013 08:36

sparkle I hi-jacked a breastfeeding one the other day. Blush She said she was a 34 back and a size 8/10 or some such, and I couldn't resist!

nottalotta you measurements are the same as mine and I'm a 32F/FF. Used to wear a 36D until one of the lovely bra threads last year.

The bra intervention threads have been great. The only problem now is that I find it very annoying when women insist they are in the correct size when I know bloody well they are not Grin.

SorrelForbes · 26/06/2013 08:45

I am utterly shameless when it comes to bra sizing! I have noticed my friends starting to apologise when they see me if they are wearing a badly fitting bra!

Trills · 26/06/2013 08:46

I don't find my bras that uncomfy...
