If you are allergic to dairy products you will most likely also to be allergic to goats milk, buffalo etc etc.

Cow's milk protein is very similar to the proteins in goat's milk etc and most people will cross react. You can be intolerant to cow's milk but not goat's milk but that is via a different immune mechanism.

People often offer goats milk to dd1 who is anaphylactic to dairy, with potentially disastrous results - it is a common misconception and one we were warned about at the allergy clinic.

And yes, OP YANBU about the eggs but again it is a common misconception. As someone else said, eggs often get included under a dairy allergy umbrella.....
