to go on Rightmove today? The painting up the stairs in photo 18 & others and the bathroom in photo 17 particularly stood out as not being neutralised for sale.

Someone's got a flair for art but I don't think it does much for me.

ThePinkOcelot · 30/05/2013 21:04

Don't like it at all. Looks like something Henry VIII would be comfortable in!

SoupDragon · 30/05/2013 21:04

Good lord!

HollyBerryBush · 30/05/2013 21:05

Photo 14 - that bloody bald patch on the lawn.

it's probably an artists house. I quite like it, although it's a bit too "pseudo scots" for my liking, it's a bit reminiscent of a 1920's American golf course club house/hunting lodge.

HerrenaisnowHowlerMonkey · 30/05/2013 21:06

Damn. That is some interesting decoration they've got.

caramelwaffle · 30/05/2013 21:07

I like the floor in picture 9: that would be the playroom.

StuntGirl · 30/05/2013 21:08

Ohh I love Walkington, I could possibly even overlook the interesting artistic flairs to move into that house!

caramelwaffle · 30/05/2013 21:08

I do not like the artwork.

Shakey1500 · 30/05/2013 21:08

I like it Grin

iseenodust · 30/05/2013 21:13

Oooh Holly do you think we'll all be following 1920's golf style after The Great Gatsby soon?

Got a bit carried away with the trompe l'oiel after watching a Changing Rooms marathon maybe?

Nothing a tin of magnolia and a roller couldn't fix!

StuffezLaYoni · 30/05/2013 21:14

It looks like someone has had explosive diarrhoea into their own hands and smeared it onto the walls.

littlediamond33 · 30/05/2013 21:16

i love it! are you going to buy it?

rockybalboa · 30/05/2013 21:16

Beautiful house, dodgy wall art. Easily fixed though so maybe buyers won't be that put off?

BinarySolo · 30/05/2013 21:17

It's actually a 2 bedroom flat, but look palatial due to the clever use of brush work.

twinklestar2 · 30/05/2013 21:17

I like it! Better than those bland 'latte' houses. Boooooooring.

TattyDevine · 30/05/2013 21:18

I quite like it. I wouldn't necessarily do it, but if I were to buy it, I wouldn't necessarily change it!!!

I like eccentric shiz though my house isn't so I should put my money where my mouth is.

Beehatch · 30/05/2013 21:21

Just how many dining tables do they need???

iseenodust · 30/05/2013 21:22

No, not buying way out of budget. Naice area though.

BlackholesAndRevelations · 30/05/2013 21:24

It's a beautiful house, despite the interesting murals! (which I would eventually paint over but would probably leave for a little while just for amusement!)

namechangeofshame · 30/05/2013 23:04

Yegads a bit goffic isn't it.

House itself is lovely though.

mrscumberbatch · 30/05/2013 23:07

Wow. That really is interesting Wink

Good for them though, I like it when people don't live in bland white boxes!
