To hate t-shirts with 'FCUK' plastered across them?

Just seen a woman in the sandwich shop wearing one, holding the hand of a little girl who was probably about four (ie just the age to be working out what words say, particuarly ones on mummy's t-shirt Hmm)

French connection is well dated isn't it? well I thought that particular 'play on words' theme was anyway.

But it's not a word is it? It's the initials of the company who sell the t shirt. I don't think it's that hilarious that it can be confused with the word fuck, but, it's not actually the word fuck.

have to admit dd's glasses are fcuk (from specsavers) and i wasn't keen on the logo, even though it is tiny, but they were the only frames she liked as they're purple.

Don't know if they've stopped making them but you still see plenty of them about. Vile, stupid campaign thought up, no doubt, by a group of twenty-something blokes who probably had a celebratory group wank on launch day.

I remember when French Connection started using the FCUK trade mark. I thought it was stupid and puerile and stopped going into the shop. Have never been back since.

YANBU. DC have always know my feeling on this and it's forbidden in this house on any garment etc. Juvenile sums it up.

Some schools where there is no uniform in 6th form don't allow either.

French Connection used to be quite naice highish-end high-street, like Oasis only a bit posher, before they brought in the FCUK thing. Then they were shit for years.

I've not been in since Phats and Small were in the charts.

I didn't think they did the FCUK thing anymore either. I've got a couple of bits from there recently and it doesn't even have FCUK on the labels, it just has French Connection in a plain type

In the 70s French Connection was all cheesecloth shirts I think.

Stuff I wore as a teenager over 25 years ago has been in and out and in again as retro chic so I wouldn't even begin to worry about FCUK t-shirts making a come back, you young cahs Grin

I hated it then and I hate it still.

Since there's that "thing" about being able to read words so long as the first and last letters are in the right place, it's fcuking obvious what it says (see what I did there? Wink) and while I don't object to swearing in general, I don't like to see it all the time, it's too in your face. The occasional transitory "fuck" when spoken lasts a split second - if you're walking near someone with a FCUK top, it's ongoing for ages. Yes I know you can look away but it's still there.

I actually, seriously considered a pair of dungarees the other week. I even went so far as ordering a pair from ASOS.

I saw the light and sent them back although secretly I'm still hankering after a pair

I remember being all cats bum mouth when my 14 year old sister had a FC t-shirt that said something like put your hands on my tits.
I was pg with DD at the time, my Mum swiftly remindedly of the Purple Sick Slut (in the style of Purple silk Cut) top I had a the same age.
