YANBU. Life isn't fair, mate

Hope everything works out for you xx

MrsSpencerReid · 13/03/2013 21:50

Nope, I just had a mc and hate every pregnant woman with one exception, a friend who had had a mc and is having a hard time being preg and has supported me loads, it's just not fair is it Hmm

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 13/03/2013 21:50

Stamp away. It's not fair at all. I'm so sorry ivf hasn't worked.

Nothing worse than hearing about happy accidents when ttc.

Have some Thanks & Wine

peachypips · 13/03/2013 21:51

Yes that sucks. Makes you want to cry. It's not bitter- it's normal and understandable and not fair.
I have 2 DSs and always wanted more but can't. I know I'm soo fortunate to have them but I can't help but be upset when people have their third.
Really hope you get ur baby x

MammaTJ · 13/03/2013 21:51

Stamp away. I felt like that when I had three MCs.

Good luck to you.

EasilyBored · 13/03/2013 21:51

It isn't fair. Stamp away

kinkyfuckery · 13/03/2013 21:52

It certainly isn't fair. x

MsVestibule · 13/03/2013 21:53

YANBU. More hugs from me. The 'baby lottery' can seem so unfair Sad.

LegoAcupuncture · 13/03/2013 21:53

Yanbu in your circumstances. So sorry it's not worked.

I can remember feeling the same when 17 year old at work got pregnant and I was just starting on road to fertility treatment. It's a horrible feeling.

crashdoll · 13/03/2013 21:53
Thanks
GinAndSlimlinePlease · 13/03/2013 21:55

It totally isn't fair Sad Angry

I can't bear to watch obem anymore. I can't bear to see pregnant women either Envy

I hope you have more success soon

shallweshop · 13/03/2013 21:59

Totally understand and it is soooo not fair.

MumVsKids · 13/03/2013 21:59

It's totally unfair and YANBU. I got pregnant by accident three times, while using various methods of contraception.

It was only when we stopped and thought about people like yourself that we realised how truly blessed we actually are, instead of whining about whether we could afford another etc.

I'm not saying this to rub salt in a wound btw, I truly feel for you and wish that IVF was more accessible for everyone who needs it.

Good luck with TTC, I wish you every ounce of good luck as you continue your journey :)

Kannet · 13/03/2013 21:59

Thanks every one, I have been pretty positive so far, just feeling a bit sorry for myself tonight

OP posts:
HollyBerryBush · 13/03/2013 22:00

I don't understand why you are watching a programme if you know it's going to upset you.

sukysue · 13/03/2013 22:02

yanbu and good luck in your next round of ivf. we couldn't get pregnant and then had 2 mc when we did but now have 2 dds of 17 and 19 so be positive it will happen for you x

SaggyOldClothCatpuss · 13/03/2013 22:04

I feel very bitter, I MC the baby Ive wanted for more than a decade. Its absolutely not fucking fair. But I also have hope for the future. There is always hope. You have to hold on to that.
And look at it this way. Would any of you want any women to go through what you have been through?

WeAreSix · 13/03/2013 22:05

YANBU.

When I was TTC (2.5yrs) I could see pregnant bumps every-bloody-where. Just awful.

UnMNetty hugs x

Salmotrutta · 13/03/2013 22:07

Sympathetic as ever I see Holly. Hmm

YANBU OP.

I hope it happens for you soon.

Snoopingforsoup · 13/03/2013 22:07

Totally am with you right now.
Thanks

HollyBerryBush · 13/03/2013 22:09

I'm not unsympathetic, i'd just turn off something that made me sad.

Perhaps I'm pragmatic?

xigris · 13/03/2013 22:10

YDNBU. That sucks. Thanks. I wish you all the best of luck

ceeveebee · 13/03/2013 22:11

We had 4 goes at IUI and then two of IVF before getting lucky, we had ICSI and got a near 100% fertilisation rate, did a 5 day transfer of two embryos and finally it worked - we have 16 mo twins now. I know it's early days but if you are able to try again then they can make some small changes to the treatment protocols and massively increase chances of success.
I hope it works out for you

Salmotrutta · 13/03/2013 22:15

But why make a point of posting that Holly?

And the OP didn't ask whether she was unreasonable to watch. She asked if she was unreasonable to feel bitter.

You post didn't address the question.

Disclaimer: I don't always stick to the point either.

CheshireDing · 13/03/2013 22:17

YANBU

I probably wouldn't watch OBEM if I was in your position tbh.

We have been trying for No2 for a year and for that reason I don't watch it. I am well aware we are very lucky to have pfb though.

Good luck with whatever you decide Flowers
