If you go into customise, you can select to have a hide button next to the threads in active convos - makes it much easier.

I reported about twenty, and have lost the will to live and hidden the others, although I believe HazelMcWitch and BrianSomething are also doing sterling service in this matter.

Hide Thread Button is a vair vair good thing.
