pretty grim all round imo

yabu. Don't be so ridonkulous of course it hasn't. AIBU is where you go to be told the truth if you can take it. I did an AIBU earlier in the week and it has improved my understanding of my DH's position ref childcare loads. If you want bare advice AIBU is the place for you. It's not easy hearing but if most are saying YABU then you most likely are

AIBU is my favorite board, it has everything I'm looking for in a bunch of threads, and the high turnover of posts is the best thing.

I'm sorry you find it difficult reading/posting, it can be a bit too much sometimes, but there are plenty more threads and boards if you have a look round MN? (and I'm not being snippy 'fuck off if you don't like it' kind of thing)

Have you looked round all of the site?

There is no MN law that says you have to read AIBU though.

Sometimes I find it all a bit full on, so I go on the Chat board instead.

And I don't think MN even looks a bit unwell, let alone be in a stranglehold by AIBU.

They must make a packet out of their most popular section, and why the fuck not eh? We're all adults and aren't here under pain of death.

I don't know what MN was like before AIBU was born.

But I like it and chat too...they're my favourite topics.

I imagine the weirdos and goaders are being attracted to MN because it's such a popular website, that gets more mentions in the media than just about any others...apart from FB and Twitter.
