To hate hate hate having tiny boobs

Without a highly padded bra my chest is completely flat - like a bloke. I am relatively small framed but I hate my lack of boobs sooo much. My friends always go on about how 'lucky' I am because big boobs are painful/annoying etc but in reality I would be delighted to have C or even B cups which I don't imagine to be hard to live with!

AIBU to hate having small boobs? I hate that I live in 'Abracadabra Bras', hate that I can't wear a bikini because I look ridiculous. I don't know anyone else as flat as me!

You're very welcome. Post your measurements on here (if you want) and we can suggest some sizes.

UnexpectedItemInShaggingArea · 04/02/2013 19:54

You fibber Ariel I saw you checking out my puppies. Grin

Hmm, maybe Mumsnetters should stay on Mumsnet!

agree with sorrel. I look totally flat chested but I am a 30B

I have learnt to accept my skinny/petite/flat chested unwomanly shape and gave up pining for tits when I was a teen and realised it was never going to happen. I dont buy deep v tops/dresses as the total lack of cleavage is unflattering but I feel confident in everything else.

garlicblocks · 04/02/2013 22:08

Post your measurements on here

Hahahahahahahahaaaaah!!! I appreciate your kind offer, but ... !

SorrelForbes · 04/02/2013 22:36

Blush. Oh dear, I forget that most sensible people are slightly averse to posting their vital statistics.

garlicblocks · 04/02/2013 23:07

... I just can't risk well-meaning posters suggesting diets, Sorrel!

FunnysInLaJardin · 04/02/2013 23:13

I would love small boobs. Mine are DD cup and always have been. I can't run properly, I can't wear a shirt, I can't wear a halter neck or a vest. I envy your tiny boobs!

FreudiansSlipper · 04/02/2013 23:13

I used to like my 30f boobs but my 32 gg is just too big :( I can not get things to fit me and have to wear v neck tops all the time

I hate the rest of my body too :(

HopAndSkip · 04/02/2013 23:37

It may seem rubbish now, but I bet you'll be glad of it once you're old and everyone else's are hanging around their knee's from being big for so many years!!! Grin

HopAndSkip · 04/02/2013 23:39

PS in no way meaning that to be horrible to big breasted people - just realised how that came out!! I will be joining the knee-boob associations in old age if that makes it any better haha!

SorrelForbes · 05/02/2013 08:06

No diet comments from this quarter! My boobs are always super sized no matter what size I can currently squeeze my wide hips into!

StuntGirl · 05/02/2013 15:40

I can't find the last thread I commented on where you worked out my size Sorrel Blush Can you help me again? My one and only bra has died today so I've taken it as a sign to buy a Sorrel-approved one Grin

I measured 36.5" under my bust and 45" over. What do I do with that half inch measurement, round up or down?!

SorrelForbes · 05/02/2013 15:44

Ok, try a 36FF and a 36G. I think a 38 is going to be too big as most people who measure I between sizes uausally end up sizing down.

StuntGirl · 05/02/2013 15:46

Ok, thank you so much Sorrel! I have actually lost weight since I last posted anyway, and am deliriously happy you just suggested a G. I haven't been a G for years! Grin

garlicblocks · 05/02/2013 15:54

I bet you'll be glad of it once you're old

Actually, yeah Grin I was still slim and small of tit at 45. Other women kept telling me I should make the most of my chest perkiness while I still had it, as I'd find myself drooping post 40. As you can imagine, I felt quietly smug!

Sadly, I now resemble a precarious pile of barely-set jellies.

THERhubarb · 05/02/2013 16:04

It seems a shame that if you want to have a bit of a whinge about your body you are told to be grateful that you are healthy. Of course I'm sure the OP is very grateful that she is healthy but that doesn't mean she can't have a bit of a moan from time to time?

I have tiny boobs too. I hate them because:

When I was younger my mum and other family members took the piss out of me for having small boobs, calling me a boy and making me feel really self conscious.

The media seems to imply that unless you have large boobs you are unattractive.

When I was breastfeeding I would get loads of comments about how they couldn't hold enough milk, how my daughter would need a bottle to top her up, how I only got pregnant so I could have some boobs Hmm

Clothes don't fit, they just hang. Necklines are made to make the most of cleavages, strappy tops are hung too low, blouses are baggy at the front, etc.

I wear padded bras all the time and am lucky enough to have a dh who loves me for who I am and who has never once made a disparaging comment about my boobs.

I'm happy with them the way they are now. I wear padded bras because otherwise clothes don't fit but if I could buy clothes for small breasted women then I would and I could then buy cheaper bras.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 05/02/2013 16:13

Well Rhubarb we may not agree about catshit, but we certainly agree about this Grin

It's the clothes thing that pisses me off most I think.

THERhubarb · 05/02/2013 16:22

Ariel Grin
How are your cats? Shat in any more gardens lately? Wink

The clothes thing is a pain in the arse. They look lovely until I try them on and if I get a size smaller than the arms are too short. I end up having to adjust most of my clothes. In fact I give a lot of my stuff to my 12yr old dd now, the tops all fit her.

I did get some of those chicken fillet things once. One of them fell out and got trodden on by a girl with high heels. I didn't have the heart to tell her she had one of my boobs stuck to her heel! I whipped the other out and just accepted that I was destined to have small boobs and that was that.

Oh and by the way, small boobs do look just as bad when you get older. I used to look after elderly people and they just become little envelope flaps. I would say that the bigger boobed old ladies actually came off better.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 05/02/2013 16:31

I have lanky gorilla arms and massive hands too My extra twiggy wrists always stick out the end of sleeves.

Roaring at your chicken fillet tale. I had some of those - I bought them from MaxCleavage.com which actually sounds like a porn site, and I found particularly in hot weather them to be very uncomfortable. They made my boobs sweat and itch, and then I got a scaly rash. So attractive. Now I have a good bra from M&S called 2 sizes bigger. Seen that?

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 05/02/2013 16:31

PS my cats never shit in gardens, as well you know!

patienceisvirtuous · 05/02/2013 16:34

YABU because I'd swap you in a heartbeat for my heavy 34 F/G's

THERhubarb · 05/02/2013 16:40

Grin @ Ariel

patience I suppose I will never know the discomfort of having large boobs and I can think of nothing worse than your body actually causing you pain like that. I suppose our scars are more psychological because people/strangers assume it's ok to make disparaging comments to us, to ask if we have a penis or are lesbians, to question our suitability to breastfeed our children and to make us feel unsexy, unwomanly, unattractive and unappealing.

It's just another way in which women are made to feel less worthy.

garlicblocks · 05/02/2013 17:04

People say all that to you??!! Shock Angry Shock Angry Angry

I hope you don't let 'em get away with it! Rude fuckers!

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 05/02/2013 17:24

Better natural boobs is what I think; big or small, but not implanted with crap. Any size is better.

I think as a smaller-boobed woman, you'll always look neat and well put together. It's not as easy when you have enormous boobs.
