For me it would probably be:

Not reading the OP properly and going off on a tangent
Pulling a thread totally OT in order to have a two way jokey conversation with someone else that goes on for pages and pages
Looking up someone's posting history and saying 'well on 5th April 2006 you said this and now you're saying that.

OP posts:
MyHeadWasInTheSandNowNot · 24/01/2013 12:24

I do half of the above I'm sure Grin

I get a little bit annoyed about a few of the things above occasionally - but the thing that really really gets me is text speak - there is NO need. If you can type young you can type you or your - u or ur is Just Not ON!

fromparistoberlin · 24/01/2013 12:25

arse lick threads about MN royalty

it makes me actually pity the OP when they do this

get.a.life

GetOrf · 24/01/2013 12:25

People who refer to their childrens ages in months beyond the first 2 years

Oh god yes 'my daughter 10.7'

How the hell do people know?

I haven't a clue.

Nagoo · 24/01/2013 12:26

IT's not the posters, it's the Red Button, when I miss the juicy threads. Bloody RL.

I love a nice bit of bolding and .

I do wish that when you registered the customise settings to highlight the OP were already on, so there's no excuse not to RTFT and make sure you aren't piling on to an OP who already agreed to their unreasonableness.

Pagwatch · 24/01/2013 12:26

Yes -exactly.
It's like the universe is in perfect balance.
Professor Brian Cox could explain it but you'll just have to take my word for it

WorraLiberty · 24/01/2013 12:27

People who rip the shit out of someone for saying 'The wife'

And then go on to moan about 'The MIL' or 'The PILs'

Confused
comingintomyown · 24/01/2013 12:27

Hate the words "luffs" and all twee similar ones

TheAccidentalExhibitionist · 24/01/2013 12:28

Posters who replace a letter in a swear word so as to not offend Sh!t
It's Ok I can read your swear word without feeling traumatised.

TuftyFinch · 24/01/2013 12:29

Professor Brian Cox is coming round tonight to explain it. I'm going to make my special cheese on toast.

sunflowersfollowthesun · 24/01/2013 12:29

I weighed my tits (individually) on the kitchen scales once, to see if they were in perfect balance. They weren't.

Hullygully · 24/01/2013 12:29

I think tho that the only people who don't like royalty threads are wannabes.

Those of us that are royalty really really love them, don't we, fellow royals?

Pagwatch · 24/01/2013 12:29

Hahahahaha . That's so true Worra

I have been here for bloody years and I never know what the clues are. No idea what the naice ham thing is about and they always mention that.

blackeyedsusan · 24/01/2013 12:29
RandallPinkFloyd · 24/01/2013 12:29

I quite like a good indignant flounce (not the actual upset ones though).

I'd love to have the balls to do it, just to see! They remind me of my 4yo niece stomping off in a strop but checking every 5 seconds to see if you're looking. If no one is she does a big humph and you can see her getting more and more furious Grin

BupcakesAndCunting · 24/01/2013 12:30

"Bulgarian midget chicken"

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

TheVermiciousKnid · 24/01/2013 12:30

Oh, I am more than just slightly annoyed, TuftyFinch. Angry

SPsFanjoIsAsComfyAsAOnesie · 24/01/2013 12:31

The grammar and spelling police.

The thread in the right topic police.

The suck the fun out of everything police.

The have to be offended at this police.

Think that's it Grin

LadyBeagleEyes · 24/01/2013 12:31

Some threads do make me cry though.
They're always the ones when someone has had to have their dog/cat put down or have died.
I'm far to emotional about pets though, I avoid any sad stories about them in the media.
(Cue someone saying it was just a dog, there are children dying all over the world)
I avoid these too BTW.

GrannyRatOnAScooter · 24/01/2013 12:31

Posters who write loads (usually) without paragraphs, stops to thank us for reading this far and then carries on for ages.

People who type bored.com (or similar)

#atthebottomofthereplywithsomerandomcommentreallyfuckingannoysme

ppeatfruit · 24/01/2013 12:32

chopchop At least the "I haven't read the thread " posters are TELLING us! What is annoying is to be ignored; to be acknowledged is pleasant.

TheAccidentalExhibitionist · 24/01/2013 12:32

Grin at sunflowersfollowthesun
I may just try that.

WorraLiberty · 24/01/2013 12:33

"I haven't read the thread" when there are only 6 or 7 bloody posts

TheAccidentalExhibitionist · 24/01/2013 12:34

WorraLiberty · 24/01/2013 12:34
