For me it would probably be:

Not reading the OP properly and going off on a tangent
Pulling a thread totally OT in order to have a two way jokey conversation with someone else that goes on for pages and pages
Looking up someone's posting history and saying 'well on 5th April 2006 you said this and now you're saying that.

OP posts:

It's not people being clean that bore me, it's people that like to tell you how clean they are all the time.

I never knew people showered after a bath until I read it on MN.

BIWI · 24/01/2013 17:45

usualsuspect - you've never seen a serious thread derailed? You clearly never visit any of the Feminism boards then. It happens all the time, with depressing regularity.

Hullygully · 24/01/2013 17:47

not by jollity love and snogs tho Biwi

usualsuspect · 24/01/2013 17:47

Ah, I never go into feminism, I don't mean that sort of derailment. Sorry.

I meant the chatty jokey stuff that some posters don't like.

Pagwatch · 24/01/2013 17:48

Ive never seen a serious thread derailed like that either.

I never knew people showered after a bath until I read it on MN.

What? directly after a bath?

Surely that must mean that they were so dirty they'd made the water and the bath dirty so felt they needed a shower to rinse off ? Confused Why else would shower too?

[boggle]

AmberLeaf · 24/01/2013 17:50

Ive seen it happen a few times.

As have others, clearly.

Are you really waiting for examples? does anything else mentioned on this thread need to be qualified by an example?

TantrumsAndBalloons · 24/01/2013 17:50

Pot noodles are my friend. And ragu sauce and anything that takes less than 5 minutes to cook.

usualsuspect · 24/01/2013 17:50

People were talking about making semi-scratch meals on another thread, I was highly amused I didn't have a clue what they were on about.

Pagwatch · 24/01/2013 17:50

The links to Daily Mail stuff with apologies is very irritating.

You read it. Just post it.

TantrumsAndBalloons · 24/01/2013 17:52

What's semi scratch?

It sounds wrong.

Pagwatch · 24/01/2013 17:52

I don't need examples.
I just haven't seen it and find it surprising. I have seen examples of just about everything else but not pissing about on a sad/serious thread.

Nancy66 · 24/01/2013 17:52

Actually the constant demanding of proof is one of the things that pisses me off

Sorry hold on a second. Who on earth showers after a bath??

And why??

manicbmc · 24/01/2013 17:53

If you're going to have a bath and then shower, why not just have the shower? Confused

If you're washing your hair, it makes sense.

manicbmc · 24/01/2013 17:56

20 minutes preparing a meal? I got that Jamie Oliver 15 minute meals book for Christmas from dd. 15 minutes my arse. It takes that long just to get all the equipment out of the cupboard and then a further 15 minutes of prep before you even start cooking. Angry Twats

Angelfootprints · 24/01/2013 17:57

I think in Japan they shower first then get a bath. Which actually makes for more sense.
