For me it would probably be:

Not reading the OP properly and going off on a tangent
Pulling a thread totally OT in order to have a two way jokey conversation with someone else that goes on for pages and pages
Looking up someone's posting history and saying 'well on 5th April 2006 you said this and now you're saying that.

OP posts:
HoneyDragon · 24/01/2013 14:52

How do you make cubes of toast? Surely that's croton territory?

HoneyDragon · 24/01/2013 14:52

It's questions like tht tht get me kicked off weaning threads, isn't it?

NicholasTeakozy · 24/01/2013 14:53

I love a strategic bitchplop. There was a brilliant one on a recent thread in AIBU that made me cry with laughter.

HoneyDragon · 24/01/2013 14:53

I have lost my a's

Hullygully · 24/01/2013 14:53

LOOK:

11:38:44
I have noticed a new trend which bemuses me.

Op: I invited my friend to come on a free luxury weekend on my private jet all expenses paid as a lovely treat because I love her so much and we are best friends, and she didn't bother answering and hasn't turned up. AIBU to be a bit hurt?

Answers: Maybe she had anxiety issues
Maybe her cat died
Maybe her fingernails hurt
Maybe she ran out of teabags
Get over yourself bitch

WTF IS THAT ABOUT????

HoneyDragon · 24/01/2013 14:54

Hully

I named the dog after you, how much more formation do you need?

HoneyDragon · 24/01/2013 14:55

Formation?

Formation?

I am sure I typed adoration Confused

Pandemoniaa · 24/01/2013 14:57

People who regularly turn up with the sole intention of posting short but deeply offensive comments. I shall not name the current worst offender because that would be deeply unlovely.

Hullygully · 24/01/2013 14:59

I'll take as much formation as I can get.

But more to the point, I wanted to know if other people had notced this phenomenon.

Hullygully · 24/01/2013 15:00

Which they obvs had cos then they went on about it like I hadn't said a word

huh

Greensleeves · 24/01/2013 15:02

ffs Hully perhaps they had all been summoned to a UN summit meeting? Perhaps they were all attacked by carnivorous screw-worms? Not everything is about YOU, you drama llama

Pagwatch · 24/01/2013 15:03

Have noticed it Hully.

I love bitchplopping too.i have never crafted a good bitchplop. Except once when I suggested to a poster who was posting reams of shite wasn't listening to anyone that she might prefer a blog.
I was very funnythat one time.

BupcakesAndCunting · 24/01/2013 15:05

If I could lezz off,
With one on this thread,
It would be Greensleeves,
She is off her head.

"Except once when I suggested to a poster who was posting reams of shite wasn't listening to anyone that she might prefer a blog"

Grin Norti Paggy.

BupcakesAndCunting · 24/01/2013 15:07

"I shall not name the current worst offender because that would be deeply unlovely"

Is it me?

I went on a Thicko thread the other day to post 'piss up a rope, fuckstick'

It was easier than explaining to the OP why she was WRONG.

atthewelles · 24/01/2013 15:08

I hate when a well known (maybe even a royal) poster is being horrible to someone and her fan club just stay very, very quiet even though she is being a cow.

OP posts:
Hullygully · 24/01/2013 15:08

usually you are a thoughtful and intelligent poster, Buppihunnixxxx

oh wait

RandallPinkFloyd · 24/01/2013 15:09

I forgotten about that. That happened to during my ill-fated foray into baby name.

I basically said, here's my short list blah blah. Amongst the eleventy million tirades of abuse were several lists of random names, like they were doing me a favour pointing out all the good ones as I'd obviously missed them. Confused

I know what you mean about the single posts pandemoniaa, I got one of those once too. Made me cry [sadcowface]

I do bloody love MN though, every irritating minute of it!

Hullygully · 24/01/2013 15:09

Do you?

I love that.

It is absolutley my favourite.

Hullygully · 24/01/2013 15:10

I hate when a well known (maybe even a royal) poster is being horrible to someone and her fan club just stay very, very quiet even though she is being a cow.

I'd love to see an example of this as it's my favourite.

Pagwatch · 24/01/2013 15:11

Do posters actually have fan clubs though?

I would like a fan club that shut up if I was being a cow but I think they would tell me. I do think they would.

BupcakesAndCunting · 24/01/2013 15:11

EFF YOU HULLY.

EFF YOU IN THE A HOLE.

I did some advice earlier on and I got two "I agree with Bupcunt"

SO IN YOUR SHITHOLE.

CheerfulYank · 24/01/2013 15:12

If there's anyone who needs formation, it's that Hully character.

What I hate are the threads that are in direct opposition to each other, yet everyone agrees with both of them. For instance the made-from-scratch threads which are all "oh I make all my own sauces, the DC live to help me squish our fair trade chickpeas into our own lovely hummus which we spread on our fire roasted homemade pita chips". And there's this subtle implication that everyone who doesn't do the same must live on white bread spread with leftover Kentucky Fried Chicken grease.

At the same time someone will start a thread complaining that her friend gives her kid McDonald's and chocolate for every meal and everyone will be all "mind your business, don't you know some children are actually abused in this country, honestly OP if this is all you can think of to post about..."

:o

Hullygully · 24/01/2013 15:13

what was your advice? did it involve machinery?
