To ask you when you get paid this month?

I am always paid early in December. It makes January very long, but with the expense of Christmas, it's always welcome. I am usually paid on the last working day of the month. So when will I be paid this month? I'm not prepared to ask anyone in my work because I don't want to flag up the fact that I cannot budget and am skint. (Don't worry, I am not penniless. I have an overdraft that I could go into if desperate - I just really try to avoid that.)

Friday 21st I think, I'd much rather be paid on the 28th as usual though.

31st December.

Always the last day of every month,unless it falls on a Saturday or Sunday or bank holiday in which case it is the nearest day before that. And I live on an overdraft

DH gets paid every 4 weeks, which can cause all manner of problems, although I think he gets paid the Friday before Xmas,this time, so that is useful.

I don't think anyone on here can tell you when you'll be paid, unless they're your employer - or work in your payroll department tbh.

You also asked when others will get paid, well I normally get paid the last working day of the month too. However, we get paid early at Christmas - normally on Christmas Eve.

The Monday isn't a back holiday. Maybe Saturday at the earliest but I would say t would credit your account midnight Sunday.

I'm usually 25ti it went in today I wish it didn't.

We normally get paid on the 21st of every month, it's normally only a few days earlier for us in December, so it was today - thank god! Still have a few more bits to buy, can't see it lasting long into the new year!!

Last working day of the month, except December when it's something super early like the 18th or something. Makes January a nightmare, I'd rather not get paid early in Dec

DH will be paid on the 24th
Me on the 28th

DH is early, he usually gets paid the 28th too. Mine's normal

I hate getting paid early though, it still has to last until the end of January so I don't really want it early as it burns a hole in my back account also crap at budgeting

dh gets paid last working day but in dec he gets it the last friday before xmas so 21st this month,its nice but means 6 weeks before he gets paid again.

I will be paid on 31 december - as the company changed last year due to getting interest on the money for a few more days.

So have several smaller pay days.
Most of the people I work for pay me around the 15th of the month.
One client pays me on 26th ( I imagine this will be earlier this month) one pays on the 10th.
One company hasn't paid me since September. ( company gone bust)

I get paid on the 20th if the month so will be paid Thursday as normal.

DH gets paid on the last Thursday of every month and is being paid on the 27th as normal too.

If you ask your payroll team, I don't think it makes you look like you can't budget. I think it's a reasonable question since so many workplaces change the dates around Christmas.

My work gets paid on 31st but we've been handing out advances left right and centre this week. Used to get paid Xmas Eve but then we used to get an Xmas bonus so would spend that and leave actual wages in the bank. Hasn't happened for a few years though.

If you are struggling find out when you get paid and if it's not before Xmas then ask for an advance today and you should get it before Xmas. Wages people won't judge, we've seen it all before and are often in the same boat!
