JeuxDEnfants · 11/09/2012 22:13

Probably but I love cheese too.

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 11/09/2012 22:14

Have you ever tried cheddar cheese and strawberry jam, sandwiched between two crackers or ryvitas? Delicious Grin

Anonymumous · 11/09/2012 22:16

Hell, no. DH has lost a stone in two weeks eating just cheese. It's cracking stuff. You would be unreasonable NOT to eat cheese.

pumpkinsweetie · 11/09/2012 22:16

Yanbu if it were to be daytime but before bed you may have some very strange nightmares and whats with the jam, ru pregnant? (nosy me)Grin
Jam & cheese together, v strange but maybe it is niceHmm

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 11/09/2012 22:17

YANBU

I have just had four baby bels dipped in a pot if hummus!

KellyElly · 11/09/2012 22:18

Ohhh lying in bed thinking jam and cheese could be a good combo :) My fav is bacon and melted cheese on pitta bread with ketchup but was lazy tonight and just ate slabs of mature cheddar as a snack before bed :)

Cream crackers with strawberry jam and cheese grated on top was my favourite lunch as a teenager and still is ;) white bread, strawberry jam and grated cheese is also gorgeous. Try it. Cheese cheese yes please ;)

FermezLaBouche · 11/09/2012 22:21

I'm soooo with you. I am the ultimate cheese lover.
Am now a lifelong member of the NO EXCUSES... weight loss thread and have relinquished bastard cheese!!! No stilton! :(

KellyElly · 11/09/2012 22:24

No stilton. That is a life not worth living!! Have some gorgonzola instead :)

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 11/09/2012 22:26

Cheese is lovely but a cheese and mushroom toastie is so much better Grin

BlueSuedeStiletto · 11/09/2012 22:29

Not at all. Have at it!

However YABU for mentioning cheese as I now want some. Possibly on a cracker with some honey.

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 11/09/2012 22:36

You can even buy Marmite cheese now, with the Marmite already in there Grin

WorraLiberty · 11/09/2012 22:37

I only really like melted cheese, that makes me weird doesn't it? Grin

That's a rhetorical question by the way!

BlueSuedeStiletto · 11/09/2012 22:38

Has anyone tried the chocolate Philadelphia? That sounds minging.

ScarletLady02 · 11/09/2012 22:40

I love cheese...

Cheese and crackers and yummy chutneys etc...that would be my last meal if I ever got executed Grin

Not that I'm planning anything nefarious....

My fave is extra mature gouda

I don't get nightmares...just lucid dreams, which I love anyway

Glittertwins · 11/09/2012 22:42

I don't like marmite but quite like the marmite cheddar! Chocolate Philadelphia doesn't sound right. I got persuaded to try toffee cheddar and that was disgusting. I love toffee and cheddar but not at the same time!

MoonlightandRoses · 11/09/2012 22:43

YANBU - have you tried decent cheddar on a dark chocolate digestive? Now that is good.

[Wanders off to fridge and biscuit cupboard]

Badgersnatch · 11/09/2012 22:43

I love to mix cream cheese with Stilton and horseradish sauce then I dip my fingers mini oatcakes in it.

GoldenPrimrose123 · 11/09/2012 22:44

Worra my mum only likes melted cheese too, she won't eat it uncooked. On the other hand, I love cheese, all types, but don't like it melted.

ScarletLady02 · 11/09/2012 22:44

Strong cheddar in hot cross buns is nice...

MoonlightandRoses · 11/09/2012 22:45

Oh Blue / Glitter - chocolate Philly is just, well, bland - it tastes as though someone has mixed a small amount of drinking chocolate with common or garden Philly and the resulting combination doesn't taste of either...

BlueSuedeStiletto · 11/09/2012 22:45

I like cheese and jam and cheese and honey and I like cheese with grapes and sweet chutney and stuff... But with chocolate? Ick. Also not sure Philadelphia is salty enough to support the chocolate? So it'll just taste like chocolate spread. Just seems a bit pointless.

Cynner · 11/09/2012 22:45

YANBU. Cheese is the food of the Gods.

ALittleScatterOfRain · 11/09/2012 22:46

I have gouda with lavender in it once, it was disgusting, it tasted like soap! It was in Holland too, you'd think they'd have known better Grin
