Agalessnow · 13/06/2012 21:34

I am.

MoodyJudy · 13/06/2012 21:34

My hands are UP

Gumby · 13/06/2012 21:34

What's the score? Grin

SiSiTD · 13/06/2012 21:40

raises hand

I have just witness my 21 year old house-mate throw a tantrum a five year old would be proud of after I told him that I would not change the channel for him to watch it. I could understand if it was an England game, and if it was, as our internet is crap temperamental, I would forgo watching Secret Eaters and let him watch it, but it's not.

PuddingsAndPies · 13/06/2012 21:43

I do not have enough hands.

316b · 13/06/2012 21:47

the euro's happen once every 4 years, secret eaters is on every week. So yes, you are being unreasonable

mangomadness · 13/06/2012 21:48

Mine, and my 3 week old is wriggling all of her limbs in agreement! I'm upstairs trying to soothe her, she has a virus (thank you ILs) can't feed very well and is obviously feeling miserable. Dh has been good, but the stupid match is more important to watch than cuddling and soothing! He made a brief appearance at half time with a cup of tea for me and scuttled off again. GRRRRRRRR

SauvignonBlanche · 13/06/2012 21:49

Me! Angry

GooseRocks · 13/06/2012 21:52

LOVE it!!

SiSiTD · 13/06/2012 21:55

316b - So, I was in the living room first and therefore get to chose what I want to watch - that's the house rule. Also, so what if it's once every four years. I personally see nothing important about men kicking a ball about a field, nothing that warrants me to deviate from what is accepted to be the order of things within the house.

ilovesooty · 13/06/2012 21:59

The third thread on this in two days.

Some of us are enjoying the tournament.

316b · 13/06/2012 22:01

oh you don't see the importance, didnt realise, you are of course the authority of anything and everything important please accept my apologies. He only has been following and loving football for most of his life (if he's 21 i would wager 17-18 years) whilst you have nothing in your life you have followed for so long.

sorry sorry

SiSiTD · 13/06/2012 22:09

316b: Woah, that's a massive assumption, a massively misguided assumption. Furthermore, your obsession with a brief and passing comment I made in good humour to show support for the OP is some what amusing.

P.S : I didn't think a grown adult would have to stoop to such low blows as 'whilst you have nothing in your life you have followed for so long' - did you enjoy your futile attempt at degradation?

316b · 13/06/2012 22:38

well have you? secret eaters has been on less than a year so i know its not that.

1 post=obsession? this is an interesting development, didnt realise it must be me being thick; please invite me to the next meeting so i can be more educated in future

P.S passing comments made in good humour a about subject you know nothing about is how racism starts.

LST · 13/06/2012 22:42

YABU because I love it Grin

CloudRazor · 13/06/2012 22:51

Hands are very much up. Football should never be on prime time TV Angry

316b · 13/06/2012 22:56

because you don't like it cloudrazor?Hmm i will write to sepp blatter himself and ask him to prevent any future TV deals

2shoes · 13/06/2012 22:58

me
ffs it is so daft that because a few grown men want to kick a ball about, every one else has to say yay.
I think there should be a tb channel just for it, shove it in there, ignore it on the news and let us haters get on with normal stuff.

2shoes · 13/06/2012 23:01

316b do you normally post such crap?

CuttedUpPear · 13/06/2012 23:02

Yup.
DP and I have been having problems for ages with not having enough time to see each other. I have finally managed to arrange to stay with him on friday night.
Tonight on the phone he announces "By the way - there is football on on Friday night".
Meaning that I do not get priority. Angry

2shoes · 13/06/2012 23:03

CuttedUpPear this is why I married a man who hates it lol

maras2 · 13/06/2012 23:05

316B. Are you unwell?Racism on this thread WTAF?

DiscoDaisy · 13/06/2012 23:06

Hand firmly down here! Now if you'd asked who's fed up of soaps that are on every day of the year then my hand would be straight up. Same with reality tv programmes and "talent" shows!

rhondajean · 13/06/2012 23:06

YAbu.

Having said that, even I went to ikea tonight for a night off.

mayorquimby · 13/06/2012 23:06

2 great games today. yesterdays were fantastic as well.
Watching Spain slap the Irish team around tomorrow won't be too much fun but Croatia v Italy should be good.
