hands up who is pissed off with the football already?

Me, but I've sworn about football on three threads, at least, so I'll shut up.

Just trying to remember Portugal being underdogs. They certainly aren't in this competition! They just have a massively hard group.

I'm supporting Denmark but think Germany will win.

Russia nearly pulled off a great win but what about that Poland goal. Don't ask me to spell any players though.

Btw I hate nani - diving - but I adored Louis figo, I also thought he was very handsome. DH has never let me forget saying that...

Holland looks like they wont make the next round.

Mario Gomez seems to have found his form at last and just at the right time for Germany.

Are we going to be treated to someone starting this same thread every day through to the final ?
Some people like big international sporting tournaments, others don't. If you don't want to watchi it, then don't. It's not rocket science - do what sports fans do every other week of the year when things they prefer not to watch are on - entertain themselves in other ways. It's not hard.

Mario Gomez has dual German and Spanish citizenship as his father is spanish. He qualifies to play for either national team.

Absolutely loving it and also can't wait for the Tour de France, Wimbledon and then the Olympics, oh and then the start of the Footie season again!!
