AIBU to be drooling at the television as the Horrible Histories men sing a song whilst looking very dapper in RAF uniforms

The one who is playing the Polish pilot... swoon

I love them. I'm even telling people that Ds really wants a HH DVD for his upcoming birthday ( he doesn't) Blush

Magneto · 08/06/2012 18:23

YANBU Ben, Matt then Jim for me too. Although the other guy is growing on me... The one who does the History report.

CanISawItOff · 08/06/2012 18:23

Oh yes horrible histories. Dh always asks how I can sit and watch it with dd. I tell him its so I can answer any questions she has. :)

Squitten · 08/06/2012 19:06

I love the HH boys! Matt does nothing for me but did you see his baby in the latest series (Mary Queen of Scots was his baby son!). SOOOOO cute :)

I'm definitely Larry, Jim then Ben...

TheArmadillo · 08/06/2012 19:33

I'm with Squitten - Larry, Jim then Ben

Obviously I watch the show purely for its educational value

ahem Blush

Pandemoniaa · 08/06/2012 19:40

Would it be an entirely unstealthy boast to tell you that one of the writers is a very good mate of mine?

Mathew for me I think
But I'm happy just to have them all perform for me

LiviaAugusta · 08/06/2012 19:45

Jim then Ben for me please!

wasabipeanut · 08/06/2012 19:46

Whichever one is Charles II in King of Bling! Is that Matthew? I love HH - I keep asking DS if he is interested in watching it but he's only 4 and doesn't really get it yet.

MavisGrind · 08/06/2012 19:46

YANBU - fancy the arses off most of them me! Luckily I have children that I can force encourage to watch - although happily they do seem to enjoy it.

I wish they'd release a CD of the songs though, we do spend a lot of time in our house singing the only two lines we know from each one them. Smile

Hassled · 08/06/2012 19:48

DS3 and I spend long happy hours YouTubing HH songs. Just saying.

MavisGrind · 08/06/2012 19:48

wasabi my youngest has only just turned three but has been known to run around the house singing "teacher you're a lier, your pants are catching fire".

They just need a bit of training Wink

wasabipeanut · 08/06/2012 19:49

Grin Mavis - I'll persevere!

MavisGrind · 08/06/2012 19:50

Obviously my appreciation of history has no bearing on my spelling ability..

alana39 · 08/06/2012 19:55

Yes wasabi The king who brought back partying.

I don't know any of their names though, need to sone history homework.

I do, however, know all the kings and queens since Will I thanks to their song

givemushypeasachance · 08/06/2012 19:56

I love HH, particularly the songs, Stupid Death and Bob Hale. And okay pretty much all of it!

Ooh and the League of Gentlemen with the lovely Mark Gatiss in the Movie Pitch sketches from the latest series... /dreamy sigh

MrsMcEnroe · 08/06/2012 20:00

Play that axe Ragnar

I still love

Charl0tteBronteSaurus · 08/06/2012 20:00

YANBU
dd1 is 5, and has just got into HH, so it's been playing constantly this half-term
i therefore have had plenty of time to assess and rank them as follows:

  1. Ben
  2. Matt
  3. Larry
wasabipeanut · 08/06/2012 20:00

I have definitely learned stuff from HH - and I have always considered myself fairly knowledgable on such matters! I'd have concentrated more on it at school with a prog like that available for sure.
